HELLO HIVE
In the early growth stage Ewedu may not look any different from other wild plants but with a close attention to details you will be able to recognize it irrespective of how young the plant may be.
🌿 Here’s what to look for:
🌿 Leaf shape and edges:
Ewedu leaves are long, slender, and have finely designed edges. They grow in pairs opposite to each other and feels soft when touched. It's biggest attraction is the color that is bright green and shiny as well, now that's a first step.
🌱Stem culture:
It's stem is upright, soft, and also green. It doesn't sprawl like weeds do, it also matures a bit firmer, and it is also very quite noticeable in garden.
🌿Growth Pattern:
Ewedu has a clean upward growth pattern not like most weeds that sprawl and this upright growth makes it easier to spot it in the garden or our farm.
I took a few pictures of my own seedlings as it emerged and that helped me to be familiar with their appearance, feel free to use your phone camera to document yours, it is a great way to learn quickly.
