As I wrote two days ago, I was cutting firewood that I had bought
By force of circumstances I got a lot of wood to cut and check.
I was taking the roof off the garage, we wanted to redo it but it turned out that the beams and battens were rotten.
I knew about the battens that they were rotten but I planned to use the beams.
I hired my uncle to do the job of redoing the garage roof. and When we saw that the beams were rotten, it was a quick action to buy new ones, to cover the garage roof.
The beams were a little longer so I used that end to make a wood shed.
From the old beams, I only managed to separate two pillars.
I cut everything else for the fire.
There were a lot of broken beams. And I still have some laths to cut. But I'll do that another time. There are a lot of them and it's going slowly.
As I said in a previous post, I make "bombs" from water bottles and sawdust.
We regularly buy drinking water, so we have a lot of 5-6 liter water bottles left over.
The recycling process in our country is not great, so disposing of those bottles is always a problem.
I also use those bottles as small greenhouses for strawberries and my garden.
And I use some of them to make briquettes.
I cut off the top of the bottle and fill it with sawdust.
I always have a little help from my son when I make these briquettes. So we have to play a little.
I immediately use the opportunity to fill the balloons with sawdust, because the sawdust is dry.
I plan to make some kind of manual briquette machine, there are great ideas and solutions on YouTube. But until then I am forced to do this not very ecological way.
Thanks for reading.
Until next time.
Stay healthy.
