Hello, my fellow hivers❣️
Good evening to you how are you doing today, I hope you having a wonderful midweek.
This week has been so awesome for me here on hive not until a fire outbreak came up this morning on my little banana plantation in front of my house.
After I got up from the bed, I swept everywhere in my compound but I didn’t see any sign of a burning fire either.
This outcome made everyone wonder and asked several questions about the cause of the fire not until a little came to me and started crying and saying aunty am sorry, I asked the little boy what is the reason behind the sudden apology and he said that he is the one who started up the fire that he burning refuse on the dry field but just on a suddenly the fire extended and he couldn’t control so he ran away when the fire got out to every part and places of the banana farm burning everything down.
The dryness of the leaves was well sponsored by the harmattan season that we are facing now in west Africa.
Most of the banana are matured and about to yield fruits while some has yielded the fruits. As we all know how a farmer behaves when it’s come to harvest, every farmer wants to see reasonable and high rewards for hIs efforts but in my case it different.
The last time I had a banana harvest from the farm was two months ago, and I was hoping to have one harvest this weekend and some other week or probably next year.
To the little boy, I couldn’t do him anything but the mother came held him up, and flocked to him mercilessly I beg for his freedom that he doesn’t know what he was doing.
Am about to cut down the ones that are mature and the ones close to maturity, I don’t mind selling them at a cheap price.
Having known the health and financial benefits of this banana fruit and what am about to lose, I cried bitterly within myself.
I left the little boy because it wasn’t deliberate act and we are humans bound to make mistakes.
I know that more is going to come in no distant time.
