Hello Hive
Keeping a vegetable bed like this means that most of the activities and work here will be done hand if we don't want to interfere with the growth of the veggies. Today is for weeding of the veggies and can you imagine that something as simple as that can be a bit challenging, since it will be a handon task, you can't use any hoes or cutlass for make the wedding faster. The veggies and grasses have all grown together and have thesame height all clumped up together. If we desire that the vegetables grow well we have to do the weeding and them be careful not to pull up the vegetables with the weeds
While planting your veggies one has to make sure that a larger portion of the veggies germinate. If germination is done scantily, weeds will most likely fill up the spaces in between the veggies
Here I have mistakenly pull up the veggies which is totally unavoidable.
In my own case here after planting the veggies I was lucky to have quality seeds and a good amount of the seeds germinated, but some lizards age up a good portion of the veggies leaving this spaces that has sooner be filled up with veggies.
I decided to pick up the weeds growing and competing with the plants, some lazy and time consuming work for the morning
Having lost the fluted pumpkin seedlings I have been on the lookout for where to get some quality seeds to replace that. Getting quality seedlings and learning how to plant them right has remained the challenge for now. These are some garden task you might feel that it's simple but without substantial knowledge in farming it gets difficult to grow the food we eat.
Meanwhile the sacks yams have grown significantly indicating the progress one can make with growing yams in sack, I am quit impressed with their growth.
Today is for taking care of the veggies with hope that harvest drops by soon.
