Hello Hive
Happy weekend to us all, I wish us the very best of peace and rest that we desire of this day. The last Saturday of every month is often set aside for Sanitation in my country. Some few hours into the morning of this day is set aside for people to clean their homes and surrounding, anyone who is found refusing this directive is often made to face the law. Most people are too busy with business and other activities, you will see them feeling very lazy too clean their homes unless it is enforced. It is good to rpipe people of this duty and to ensure that people clean their homes and stay healthy.
I have never had a challenge with cleaning my home and surrounding hence while people cleaned theirs mine is still neat buying me some more ore time to stay back in bed.
Right after this time we would be returning to farm for some work.
Right here in the farm, you can see the varieties of vegetables and crops we have planted. From various species of vegetables, to pepper with the addition of corn
A lot of respurces often go into dry season gardening/farming like this. The most expensive of them is the fuel for irrigation of these veggies. In order to maximize our input to and to avoid too much losses when one crops refuses to produce well, this is the reasons we have planted varieties.
The scotch bonnet pepper above aren't performing up to expectation this year unlike this other specie of long pepper.
Imagine is just one specie of this crop is grown and it doesn't produce well enough, this means that we will be wasting so much money on this field.
While some crops prefer to grow alone in field for them to produce optimally we have to research the kind of crops that can manage to produce together to maximize farm capital.
This is the second time corn is being planted among these peppers this year and everyone can see how well it is flourishing. These corns have never pose any challenge with growing and mixing it with pepper isn't the reason why the scotch bonnet aren't doing well, since the other specie of pepper isn't giving us any challenge. Sometimes we get lucky with some crops, other times we don't and from all indication it looks like we haven't gotten and planted the best types of seeds for the scotch bonnet this year.
