I have been involved in farming since childhood, my childhood was spent playing and working in the fields. Even today I do farming with my younger brother, both of us grow different types of fruits and vegetables in the fields. I cannot help my brother much now, because I am in service in Mumbai. Friends, we do not use chemical fertilizers to make our fields fertile. We arrange for fertilizers in our own house. We produce manure in two ways.

Friends, for a farmer, animal husbandry is a very profitable business. See, when you rear cows, buffaloes, and goats, you get many benefits from it. Cow, buffalo milk is for home and children, and you can also earn money by selling it. And for our farming, we get cow dung manure to make it fertile. Isn't it friends, it is beneficial from both sides? Yes, it does require a little more hard work, but it is beneficial. That is why we always rear two to three cows and two to three goats at home. We put the cow dung manure obtained from them in our field every year on every sunny day. We turn the soil of the field up and down, and due to this, the manure gets mixed well in the soil. And the land becomes fertile. There is no need for chemical fertilizers either. It is very good for the field.

Friends, along with farm work, we also raise chickens. Their manure is also very good for our farm. This also requires hard work, we have about fifty of them. My parents stay at home, who take care of them. This also has many benefits, we get to eat original village chickens. Along with this, we get to eat their eggs. We also sell the remaining eggs, isn't it double profit?

Friends, we farmers take great care of these animals. And we also grow grass for them in our fields. Now we have also bought a grass-cutting machine for them. We make manure of all these cows, buffaloes, goats, and chickens in a pit a little away from our house. Their stool and urine are collected in a big pit. You can see it in this image. Every two to four months, some water is also left in it, so it decomposes well. Once a year, it is filled in a trolley and put in the field. This makes your field very fertile. And any crop grows well in it. And its production capacity also increases. The incidence of diseases on the crop also decreases. The pitch of your land also remains fine.
