I want to use this medium to greet all great Hivers. How has been your day so far, hope you are all doing good? I'm positive minded that it's all well and fine.
When I was still a common man who didn't have any impact in the community or society other than just to buy whatever anything I need. My horizons wasn't widened to the extent to realize how important an association is in the society concerning buying and selling. It was always none of my business. At a point, when I come across association striving and fighting to achieve a common goal, I was always feeling frustrated why they were doing all this but knowing that there's more to buying and selling most especially when you are the producer who wants to sell.
If you are a farmer and a producer of chicken, you are open to sell to the wholesalers, retailers and the consumers which base on how the market approaches at that particular time. When time reaches that I myself become a business person I now began to realize the nooks and crannies of doing business. Before I deviated too much, I am just realizing why association is now important in chicken production.
IMPORTANCE OF FORMING ASSOCIATION.
Right now, the notion and the goal post has shifted to where I have to play my ball to score but the goal post keeps on shifting. Then keeps me wondering as I relate this to the price instability on market price volatility of dressed chicken. I feel right now, the price volatility doesn't favor we the chicken producers because if you look at it the price of the cost of production like feeds, medication, vaccinations and the likes keep increasing while the price we are selling keeps dropping and this is down to the absent of association to make rules and regulations on chicken price. Long and short term Poultry farmers are just selling at whatever price after maybe an encounter with little or more pressure from selling( was once in the shoes).
At this point, I don't know the whatever name that would be given to the association, we just need an association that will be regulating the price of either live or dressed chicken because some other farmers selling at wayward price is making the poultry farming to lose its value. Aside the fact that we have many people that have no passion for the business goes a long way to kill the value of the business. To start with "THE PRICE REGULATION OF CHICKEN PRODUCTION NEEDS TO ATTENDED AND FIXED"
