I arrived to Portugal Saturday afternoon, but it's been so busy, I did not have time to turn the computer on until this morning. Above is the sunrise view arriving at the farm. I am spending the nights at the stable in the village and my friends are camping in the farm. We plan to start working in the tiny house today, although we expect to get the materials tomorrow.
We spend some time cleaning the dry grass from the entrance to let the car get in, although the entrance is so tight we will probably need to make it bigger to have some more clearance for the car or for any truck to be able to get in when I get the material delivered.
We also bought a water pump to get the water from the well and managed to get a cement mixer from a friend of a friend. That's good news, otherwise I will have to buy a new one. Here are a few shots of the farm with the grass trimmed and the tent. Temperatures are quite hot during the day, but luckily there are many trees and we managed to set up the tent in a shaded area.
There are plenty of tasks for the day as I am expecting the new Bluetti Battery, we need to get some supplies to the city and order material for tomorrow's delivery but the nice surprise of the day was discovering this nest while cleaning one of the olive trees, it seems the little birds were just born a few hours ago! You can see how they are claiming their mom to get some food :)
