Hello fellow farmers. Okay, this time I want to share a little with you.
I've been working on processing and collecting water from sugar palm trees for several months now.
Before I collect water from these sugar palm trees, I first have to clean the flowering or seed-bearing trees. I peel back the fronds to expose the flower bulbs. After that, it's just a matter of maintenance.
I tend to them by tapping and swinging them until the flowers bloom. I do this continuously to ensure abundant water supply. Once the flowers bloom, I prune them.
These sugar palm trees are quite tall, about 10 meters. I made a ladder out of bamboo. I also made a water storage container out of bamboo because it's easier to maintain, safer from pests, and more affordable than other materials.
I regularly collect water twice a day, in the morning and evening.
