Hello homesteaders, happy new month... I hope this month will yield a fruitful harvest for us all.
I would like to share a little update on my farm today, alot has happened on my farm, I could remember that a month ago, I had posted my farm which was two weeks old then now it's more than a month, going to two months now.

Another screenshot from my former post, showing how my crops were before now
It's has not been easy as am still a learner trying to understand more things about agriculture.
On my farm I have cassava, beans and maize.
The cassavas are growing beautifully well, it's actually the best of the three crops I have on the farm. Am so happy to see this... lots of joy filed my heart.
The beans too are growing well, it's leaves looks healthy and fresh. Good to see too.
But my maize is not growing as expected, it's so scanty not all over the heaps like the cassava... I tried to find out why and I discovered it was the maize seed we planted that was not good enough, it had been affected by some kinds of pest.
And then an agriculturalist also told me that the land is not good enough for maize, am still surprised though I don't know that a land that is good enough for cassava and beans might not go well for maize. Although the same agriculturalist also told me to apply some fertilizers so I am still thinking if that will be necessary or not.
This is one of the major set backs am having presently, my maize is not growing well. Maybe I won't be eating enough maize this time around.
Moreso, my farm is now becoming bushy meaning I have to do the weeding very soon. So as to avoid any other form of set back.
This is the update on my mixed cropping farm so far.
Thanks so much for staying tuned, have a productive week ahead.
Note: All pictures are mine, they were all taken with my phone camera.
