1 KINGS 18:41-45
And Elijah said to Ahab, “Go, eat and drink, for there is the sound of a heavy rain.”Vs. 41
So Ahab went off to eat and drink, but Elijah climbed to the top of Carmel, bent down to the ground and put his face between his knees. Vs. 42
“Go and look toward the sea,” he told his servant. And he went up and looked. “There is nothing there,” he said.
Seven times Elijah said, “Go back.” Vs. 43
The seventh time the servant reported, “A cloud as small as a man’s hand is rising from the sea.”So Elijah said, “Go and tell Ahab, ‘Hitch up your chariot and go down before the rain stops you.’” Vs. 44
Meanwhile, the sky grew black with clouds, the wind rose, a heavy rain started falling and Ahab rode off to Jezreel. Vs. 45
A lesson I would love to share in this bible passage is that it is what goes up that comes down. In other words, the rain could fall because something had earlier gone up.
PSALM 67:5-7 says;
Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. Vs. 5
Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us. Vs. 6
God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear Him. Vs. 7
You can also load your cloud through offering high praises to God. Also, when worship goes up, healing comes down. Even the scripture records those that received major healing from God started by worshiping Him.
MATTHEW 8:1-3
When Jesus came down from the mountainside, large crowds followed him. Vs. 1
A man with leprosy[a] came and knelt before him and said, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.” Vs. 2
Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” Immediately he was cleansed of his leprosy. Vs. 3
The leper first worshiped Jesus before he was healed. Even before Jairus asked for help, he fell down before Jesus and
worshiped Him.
If you don’t know how to give God quality worship, you will be robbing yourself of several benefits.
LUKE 6
This passage of the scripture also talks about giving and it shall come back to you in good measure pressed down shaking together running over. Automatically, whatever you give to God in your prayer, worship, tithe and offering comes back to you.
Similarly, when prayers go up, deliverance comes down.
After Peter was arrested, the church prayed without ceasing and deliverance came for Peter.
If only we as Christians can pray, deliverance will come to our loved ones, our church and leaders. Such prayers is a demonstration of love and commitment to the one we are interceding for.
To provoke a divine visitation, an uncommon offering should go up. Solomon who gave an uncommon sacrifice and God himself came down.
If you are a miser, you will surely miss visitors from Heaven. When the giving of the first fruits increase goes up, unlimited returns comes down.
PROVERB 3:8-9
When the first fruits sacrifice goes up, irreversible blessings come down. An example was when Abraham set out to sacrifice his only son Isaac and God swore to bless and multiply him.
When obedience goes up, the good of the land comes down.
When you seek the Lord, Psalms 34:10 says abundance would come down. When you seek god’s kingdom, all our needs would be met.
PSALMS 34:10
The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing. Vs. 10
When repentance goes up, forgiveness will come down.
What are you sending up and waiting for it to come down.
