Something you are not going to want to hear...
Recently I started the community for #Addiction-Recovery here on Hive and I have been mainly posting there, but today, I wanted to do a very important post that a lot of people may need to hear. I make this post because the truth is, the time is short, and false teachers abound in this day and age. The main point of this post is to show people that biblically, the teaching of the pre-tribulation rapture is simply not supported by scripture. I know a lot of people will not want to hear this, but please, read the post and decide for yourself what the Bible really says...
So where did this teaching come from anyway?
The truth is, there is a lot of disagreement on where this teaching comes from. Some say that it was taught in the third century, but the most accepted answer is the teaching came about from John Darby in the eighteen hundreds. It was then integrated into the so-called "Scofield Bible" which was then used by schools and preachers across the country. The truth is, this is why this unbiblical teaching has found its way into most Christian churches today, but what does the Bible say?
Yeah, what DOES the Bible say anyway?
The main Bible reference for the pre-tribulation rapture is Matthew 24:40-41 which states:
40Two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. 41Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left.
That is it! Sure there are other verses that state similar things, but this is the main reason this teaching is still taught. As a matter of fact, the word "rapture" is not even in the Bible. It is a translation of the word "Harpazo" which means "To snatch away..."
Now, let us look at 1 Corinthians 15:52 in the King James Version:
"In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed."
Now let me ask you a question, how many trumps after the last? NONE! It is the LAST!!!
Let us now look at 2 Thessalonians 2:3 in the King James Bible:
"Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition."
This clearly says that the antichrist comes before anything else happens...
Do not be deceived...
The Bible says "Do not be deceived" seventy two times. 72. Think about that. Almost seems to be important huh? What is more beneficial to a pastor, to teach you to buy food and supplies, or to teach you that you have no worries because you will not be here? Obviously those collection plates will not be as full if people are preparing. Matthew 24:13 states:
"But the one who remains faithful to the end will be saved,"
So I ask you, where do you plan on being?
Jared Kushner...
I am not going to get into a big diatribe here on Eschatology, or end-times teaching, but I do want to point out that the antichrist HAS to be Jewish. The man that the Sanhedrin and Temple Institute declare to be the "messiah" will have to be of Jewish descent. Furthermore, in order for the Muslims to accept him as their Mahdi, which is an entire other post, he must be from the Abrahamic family. Jared Kushner signed the Abrahamic Accords on September 11, 2020, technically declaring "peace in the middle east," now where have I heard that before? The Bible says that there will be three and a half years of peace, and three and a half years of war in the final tribulation. I suggest that we are a little over two years into the first half, and things are going to get very much worse.
Two Messiahs...
The Talmudic Jews, the same group as the Pharisees of Jesus' time, believe that there will be two messiahs in the end days. One, the "messiah ben Josef" will be a "war messiah," and the other, the "messiah ben David," will be a "peace messiah." I find it very interesting that Donald Trump spoke the way he did, and that Revelations 13:4-5 states:
4 They worshiped the dragon who had given authority to the beast, and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast, and who can wage war against it?” 5 The beast was given a mouth to speak arrogant and blasphemous words, and authority to act for 42 months.
Didn't Trump make sure to tell us he was a "War President" because he was fighting "covid?" And didn't he give authority to Jared Kushner? Forty two months is a little less than four years, a presidential term...
Things to think about... Seriously
