The Principal article of faith in Christian religion are; belief in an almighty and all knowing God who is the maker of heaven and earth. There's also the belief that Jesus Christ is the only Son of God, and who saved the world from the sin of Adam and Eve by dying on the cross. Thirdly, Christian believe in the Holy Spirit, as comforter, and who enables believers to have personal encounter with God and Saviour.
These three entities, God the father, son and the Holy Spirit are called the Trinity and Constitutes one God. Christian do not arrive on this triune' entity by force of reason, they accept it by faith.
The greatest knowledge possible is the knowledge of God and is revealed to believers by God through the reading of the Holy Scriptures.
They are two categories of knowledge, the material and spiritual world knowledge.
Knowledge of the material world enable us to understand the world well. This is necessary for us to be able to take good care of the world as God has commanded. It also enables us to use our natural talent to provide for our daily needs. While the knowledge of the spiritual world keeps us in constant contact with God.
Therefore, knowledge of the spiritual is superior to all other forms of knowledge. What ever we have or do in this world is to prepare us meeting God later. Therefore, if any man gains the whole world and loses his soul, he has lost everything.
God is the source of all good things. therefore, what ever is of value has its root in God. The greatest value is doing the will of God. The human values shows the Christians worldly duties, and the spiritual valve shows their spiritual duties. Therefore, the Christian see their work on earth as a duty given to them by God so that when they perform excellently, they will qualify to sit with the Kings of this world.
