It is rather sad that till date, most people are yet to discover the important part that their mind plays their day to day life as well as their experiences and sucesses or failure. Man is often said to be tripartite. He is principally a spirit, has a soul and lives in a body. The truth has eluded so many for so long. They only see things from the physical perspective. The most time do clear understanding of their nature. They do not know thatthey are spirits, like God is. The word says, He that is born of the Spirit is spirit. " God is a Spirit; we are born of God, so we too are spirit.
Moreso, as spirita, we also havde a soul and this compraises the mind, emotions and will . The soul is generaly referred to as seat of the person (personality) The mind is ver y important deparment of the soul. That is what the sits the intellectual property.
The mind seats the intellect and has endering influnces over the other aspect of the the soul. I guess that God understood the power of the mind that why he say that "we should guild our minds with much carefullness cause from it comes issues of life" .
Going by what the scripture has x-rayed, it means that our sucesss or failure in life has a corolation construct with the state of our mind. Sin is first conceived in the heart or mind of a man. "As a man thinketh in his heart (mind ) so is he. Take not that the problem we have with the mind is that it can mislead us sometime that we succum to the influnce.
