Through the Flames
I walked through fire, bare and bold,
A tale unwritten, yet foretold.
The embers licked, the sparks took flight,
Yet I remained—a flame in night.
The ground beneath was cracked and black,
No path ahead, no way to back.
Yet still, I burned, though not to fade,
But to ignite what fear betrayed.
The heat was cruel, the smoke unkind,
It seared my skin, yet freed my mind.
For in the fire, truth was shown—
The old was lost, the new had grown.
Not every flame was meant to char,
Some light the way, reveal the stars.
Through smoke and cinder, ash and haze,
I rose anew—a soul ablaze.
