Sean bienvenidos una vez más chicos, la verdad es que este nuevo personaje que debemos dibujar tiene un diseño o estilo peculiar, pues a como su nombre lo indica"TANK-420" pues parece un robot que fue diseñado para tal vez almacenar algún líquido en las granjas de #Hashkings, pero yo decidí darle otra utilidad en mi dibujo así por favor lean como logre este resultado artístico.
Welcome once again guys, the truth is that this new character that we must draw has a peculiar design or style, because as its name suggests "TANK-420" it looks like a robot that was designed to perhaps store some liquid in the #Hashkings farms, but I decided to give it another use in my drawing so please read how I achieved this artistic result.
Diseño del personaje:
El boceto es la parte más importante, pues es donde sé desde qué forma o personalidad va a tener el personaje, lo primero es que dibuje parte de su torso y luego agregue abajo unas ruedas, ya que si esto hace referencia un poco al robot "wall-e" en la película de Pixar. Bueno, pero en este caso este robot es un explorador y en su mano dibujé un gran capullo de BUDS, ya una vez listo procedí a remarcar las líneas con bolígrafo negro, esto siempre lo realizo para que así se noten más una vez lo pase al editor "Photoshop".
Character design:
The sketch is the most important part, because it is where I know from what shape or personality is going to have the character, the first thing is that I draw part of his torso and then add below some wheels, because if this makes a little reference to the robot "wall-e" in the Pixar movie. Well, but in this case this robot is an explorer and in his hand I drew a big cocoon of BUDS, and once ready I proceeded to highlight the lines with black pen, I always do this so that they are more noticeable once I pass it to the editor "Photoshop".

Primer paso: lleve la imagen de mi boceto al editor y cree una capa reste rizada y luego la invertí para después con un pincel duro rellenar todas las líneas de nuevo(esto para hacerlas más oscuras con un trazo más grueso, esto facilita el proceso de pintar el dibujo.)
Como estaba el fondo un poco opaco, le subí brillo con la herramienta de curvas de sombras y la deje blanca como un papel, ahora ya estaba listo el boceto para darle vida coloreando.
The editor that makes magic (Photoshop)
First step: I took the image of my sketch to the editor and created a curly subtracted layer and then I inverted it and then with a hard brush I filled all the lines again (this to make them darker with a thicker stroke, this facilitates the process of painting the drawing).
As the background was a little opaque, I increased brightness with the shadows curves tool and left it white as a paper, now the sketch was ready to give it life by coloring.
Segundo paso: con el botecito de pintura procedí poner las capas iniciales de colores como: gris para todo el cuerpo de lata del robot, sus ojos verdes al igual que la planta de BUDS, su boca un poco que da un reflejo cada vez que este habla con un amarillo claro, y por último sus rueditas con gris oscuro y un rojo brillante para resaltar las luces que tiene es su parte frontal.
Second step: with the paint can I proceeded to put the initial layers of colors such as: gray for the whole tin body of the robot, his green eyes like the BUDS plant, his mouth a little bit that gives a reflection every time he speaks with a light yellow, and finally his wheels with dark gray and a bright red to highlight the lights that he has in his front part.
Tercer paso: las sombras son una parte crucial en este dibujo, pues yo suelo utilizar un pincel suave y difuminado para realizar las mismas con más facilidad y a su vez comienzo con los tonos más oscuros de un costado y así voy cambiando el color a uno más claro hasta conseguir el resultado deseado.
Las sombras la posicioné en zonas como la parte baja donde se encuentran las ruedas y la parte interna del brazo, pero esto tan solo era el comienzo de arte, faltaba muchos retoques por dar así continuemos.
Third step: the shadows are a crucial part in this drawing, I usually use a soft and blurred brush to make the shadows more easily and in turn I start with the darker tones on one side and so I change the color to a lighter one until I get the desired result.
The shadows were positioned in areas such as the lower part where the wheels are and the inner part of the arm, but this was only the beginning of the art, there were many touches to be done, so let's continue.
Cuarto paso: los detalles en mi dibujo son fundamentales, pues las sombras ya estaban listas, pero ahora tocaba ponerles brillos, en las luces rojas y además con un pincel suave de color azul puse unas luces alrededor del cuerpo en formas de puntos.
Sus ojos verdes también les hice unos orillos un poco brillantes, pero le agregué en parte de los brazos como en los hombros azules, esto para no hacer la armadura de un solo color.
Fourth step: the details in my drawing are fundamental, because the shadows were already ready, but now it was time to put shines in the red lights and also with a soft blue brush I put some lights around the body in the form of dots.
His green eyes I also made some shiny selvages, but I added blue in part of the arms and shoulders, this in order not to make the armor of a single color.
Quinto paso: solo le hacía falta un fondo a este pequeño robot y de una vez me puse manos a la obra, pero aparte tuve que crear una capa nueva, pues así era más sencillo para colorear, tenía en mente hacer un piso de tierra y al fondo una especie de cueva que este robot estuvo explorando por cierto les dejo una historia a continuación para que descubran el propósito por el que fue creado TANK-420.
Primero hice trazos amarillos, grises y negros, hasta que le di una apariencia de cueva, pero sin dejar atrás detalles como la hierba o pasto que está en frente del personaje simulando la vegetación del lugar.
Fifth step: all I needed was a background for this little robot and I got down to work, but I also had to create a new layer, so it was easier to color, I had in mind to make a dirt floor and at the bottom a kind of cave that this robot was exploring by the way I leave a story below to discover the purpose for which it was created TANK-420.
First I made yellow, gray and black strokes, until I gave him a cave appearance, but without leaving behind details such as grass or grass that is in front of the character simulating the vegetation of the place.
ANK-420 hizo un descubrimiento que cambió Hashkings:
Hashkings sé a caracterizado por tener a los científicos más locos, y uno de ellos tuvo la brillante idea de crear un robot que explorara las cuevas más peligrosas del pueblo, aquí es donde entra TANK-420, un robot diseñado con este fin y valla que hacía bien su trabajo, pues en una misión encontró algunas que otras rocas preciosas y raras, pero esto no paro allí, pues la obsesión de su amo el científico era muy grande como para complacerlo con tan solo estos minerales.
Por lo que este pequeño robot fue enviado nuevamente y tal fue su empeño en poder dar lo mejor al científico que bajo hasta lo más profundo de la misma donde ningún otro humano o robot conocido había podido llegar, y allí entre la penumbra solo alumbrando con su foco de linterna vio una planta extrañamente rara y luminosa cuando decidió cortar una muestra sintió un leve toque de electricidad, pero no le hizo daño alguno.
Al salir a la superficie, el científico al ver aquel descubrimiento sintió una gran fascinación e intriga y de una vez se puso a estudiar aquella planta, después de unas cuantas pruebas logro deducir que estas plantas conocidas como BUDS servían para hacer combustible, pero sobre todo daba energía a quien la consumía por lo que este científico mando a buscar más plantas con TANK-420.
Al fin y al cabo, gracias a TANK-420, los habitantes de Hashkings tuvieron las primeras semillas que luego se transformaron en todo un imperio de sembradíos y cosechas, un muy buen origen de donde proviene estas valiosas plantas para los habitantes de dicho lugar.
ANK-420 made a discovery that changed Hashkings:
Hashkings has been characterized by having the craziest scientists, and one of them had the brilliant idea of creating a robot to explore the most dangerous caves of the town, this is where TANK-420 comes in, a robot designed for this purpose and he did his job well, because in one mission he found some rare and precious rocks, but this did not stop there, because the obsession of his master the scientist was too big to please him with just these minerals.
So this little robot was sent again and such was his determination to give the best to the scientist that he went down to the depths of the same where no other human or known robot had been able to reach, and there in the gloom only illuminating with his flashlight spotlight he saw a strangely rare and bright plant when he decided to cut a sample felt a slight touch of electricity, but it did not hurt him at all.
After a few tests he managed to deduce that these plants, known as BUDS, were used to make fuel, but above all they gave energy to those who consumed them, so the scientist sent to look for more plants with TANK-420.
After all, thanks to TANK-420, the inhabitants of Hashkings had the first seeds that later became a whole empire of crops and harvests, a very good origin of these valuable plants for the inhabitants of that place.
