La imagen del avatar Lieutenant O'Weed me dio la idea de un zombie infiltrado en una base militar, y que esa base militar está en guerra, pues si el zombie Lieutenant O'Weed pudo entrar, eso significa que otros zombies pudieron entrar también ¿verdad?, y los militares y los zombies libres nunca se han llevado bien, así que están en guerra...
The image of the Lieutenant O'Weed avatar gave me the idea of a zombie infiltrating a military base, and that military base is at war, well if the zombie Lieutenant O'Weed was able to get in, that means other zombies were able to get in too right, and the military and free zombies have never gotten along, so they are at war?
Con eso en mente, me fije en la roca que tenia de collar y también en los misiles incrustados en el avatar, y aunque es claro que los misiles iban dirigidos a la cabeza, yo quería reflejar que eran atraídos por la roca. También quería que el escenario reflejara un terreno distinto al militar, y mas parecido a un campo con radiación.
With that in mind, I looked at the rock as a necklace and also at the missiles embedded in the avatar, and although it is clear that the missiles were aimed at the head, I wanted to reflect that they were attracted by the rock. I also wanted the scenery to reflect a different terrain than the military, and more like a field with radiation.
¿Por que quería eso?
En el momento en que me propuse participar, no tenia muchas ideas de como desarrollar un poco de historia con este avatar, asi que simplemente empece a dibujarlo un poco a mi estilo, en el proceso del dibujo, se me ocurrió la idea de la roca y los misiles, así cono la idea del campo radioactivo y el tanque que lanza los misiles.
Why did I want that?
At the time I proposed to participate, I didn't have many ideas of how to develop a little story with this avatar, so I just started to draw it a little bit in my own style, in the process of drawing, I came up with the idea of the rock and the missiles, as well as the idea of the radioactive field and the tank that launches the missiles.
Después de todo, me imagine un pequeño corto de ficción donde el zombie Lieutenant O'Weed carga una roca colgando de su cuello que es de un material toxico y radioactivo para el aire a varios metros de distancia, por lo que el campo rápidamente adsorbió el toxico y a su vez se volvía radioactivo, los militares al darse cuenta, obviamente tomaron la decisión de eliminar el causante del daño, por lo que dirigieron un equipo que pudiera cumplir con la misión. Este equipo se hizo cargo rápidamente de la situación y tras varios cálculos obtuvieron las coordenadas para mandar el misil a destruir el zombie con la roca sin hacerse notar, consiguiendo el éxito a medias, ya que aun asi el campo ya no era habitable ni desarrollable.
After all, I imagined a little short fiction where the zombie Lieutenant O'Weed carries a rock hanging from his neck that is of a toxic and radioactive material for the air several meters away, so the field quickly adsorbed the toxic and in turn became radioactive, the military realizing this, obviously took the decision to eliminate the cause of the damage, so they led a team that could accomplish the mission. This team quickly took charge of the situation and after several calculations obtained the coordinates to send the missile to destroy the zombie with the rock without being noticed, achieving half success, since even so the field was no longer habitable or developable.
A partir de aquí están las fotos de proceso del dibujo. Cabe destacar que lo empece en mi cuaderno y ya después lo pase a una hoja blanca y limpia para colorearlo.
