From childhood, Faye was introduced to music through her grandparents’ love for the church.
At first, her rhythmic patterns weren’t very striking or coordinated, and the reason was that she didn’t care much about playing the piano for adults in a closed room.
But after several attempts and with a focus on evangelizing more children through play at church events, she felt that having fun and enjoying herself with people her own age was the motivation she needed to take things seriously.
Her talent drew the public's attention to her as a promising young artist, and it was no surprise that the puppet shows and musical performances she helped direct filled the church to capacity, as she exuded creativity and charisma in a spectacular way, connecting deeply with her audience.
A music producer who attended the service saw the girl's potential and signed a contract with her grandmother for her to appear in television commercials and on some live children's shows, providing musical accompaniment for children's entertainment programs.
With her family’s financial situation settled, Faye continued her academic and musical studies, and when she turned 16, she decided to try her hand at a solo career as a musician.
Her musical compositions overflow with joy and charisma—the kind of music that gets stadiums and crowds buzzing, with everyone singing along at the top of their lungs and jumping for joy.
Faye has shown that making music to have fun with her audience is the key to her own happiness and to bringing joy to others.
Many famous record labels and high-profile evangelical pastors want to sign her to a multimillion-dollar contract for their own benefit (to attract massive audiences), but Faye is going the independent route, because she knows that the day they force her to compose music for money, her magic for it would be gone.

Nile is a young man who has had a difficult life, growing up in a poor neighborhood plagued by safety issues and lacking in resources, and neglected by the government.
Since he was a child, he has managed to get by with the help of his uncle, as his parents were killed in a failed robbery at their former home due to crime in the area.
He makes a living by collecting recyclables. Many of his friends his age urge him to join a gang, but his uncle scolds him whenever he can and gives him moral guidance so he doesn’t go down the wrong path.
Among his usual admonitions are: “Why do you want to be in a gang—to kill another family and leave children suffering?”
Nile tries to lead a balanced life, between playing soccer with his neighborhood friends and getting into mischief, but without crossing the line into using drugs or getting involved in anything illegal.
Among his pastimes with them is improvising rap rhymes, and boy, did Nile develop a talent for this. Many of his stories were true accounts of other gangs, while others were narratives of his friends’ misdeeds—to the point that his storytelling became an anthem that everyone in his neighborhood proudly chanted, impressed by the great lyrics Nile composed.
Unfortunately, other gang members, misled by the rumors, believed that Nile was the gang’s leader and the one who had committed those crimes against rival gangs, and one day they stormed into his uncle’s house and killed him when he refused to reveal his nephew’s whereabouts.
A major controversy erupted between rival gangs, with both sides exchanging gunfire in retaliation for the intrusion into their neighborhoods, to the point that a large police force had to restore order in the area.
After arresting Nile and taking statements from several local residents, they concluded that the young man had nothing to do with the rumors surrounding his songs.
At first, Nile isolated himself from everyone; he felt that his uncle’s death was his fault, and he shut himself off emotionally to the point of nearly giving up on life.
As the days went by, his situation worsened; there was no food left and nothing to do, since his creditors had evicted him from his uncle’s home.
Nile had reached the point where he was sleeping on the streets and eating food he found in the trash near restaurants.
One day, some hitmen passing by recognized him and decided to fund his career as a rapper, as they saw in him the great power of his lyrics, his rhymes, and his stories.
Many of his songs allude (in quotes) to the gang members who hired him, yet he still maintains a clean record with no criminal history, as Chico Nile simply sings for entertainment, and whatever he earns from his albums is earned legally.
Many people label Nile as a friend of the drug cartels, but at the same time, the authorities and those in the know who are keeping tabs on Nile claim that it’s all just for show and that Nile isn’t involved in any of it.
Many gang members respect Nile for his rhymes and his storytelling talent; they know that even though he has nothing to do with gangs, his lyrics are truly powerful, so they accept him for who he is—a singer, not a hitman from their neighborhood.
Some rappers in the scene criticize Nile, saying that if you’re not a true bad boy, you shouldn’t be on stage; other rappers, however, support him, knowing that in this industry, making money through music is the goal.
Despite their differences, by the end of the rap battles they end up respecting Nile, as it’s undeniable that his gift for storytelling and his ability to respond through song are flawless.
Nile donates part of his earnings to orphanages and homeless families, because he knows what it’s like to live on the streets and doesn’t want that for anyone.
