En esta ocasión les comparto mi participación para el reto semanal de arte de Hive account@hashkings
En esta ocasión tenemos a Airhead Lieutenant un soldado zombie nacido para fumar mota, ya que esta de moda el spiderverso quise representarlo así, como el superheroe favorito de muchos de nosotros
Esta vez no tuve tiempo de pensar en una historia, simplemente empecé a dibujar sin pensar en nada, esta tarde la he pasado muy relajado con esta ilustración! 😊😄

On this occasion, I'm sharing my participation for Hive account@hashkings' weekly art challenge.
This time we have Airhead Lieutenant, a zombie soldier born to smoke marijuana. Since the spiderverse is popular, I wanted to portray him like that, as the favorite superhero of many of us.
This time I didn't have time to think of a story, I just started drawing without thinking about anything. I've spent a very relaxed afternoon with this illustration! 😊😄

Paso 1.- Como siempre empiezo haciendo un boceto dejándome llevar por la imaginación o a veces alguna referencia de una postura que me guste, para mi lo mejor es hacer dos bocetos uno general para ver por donde iremos con el dibujo y ya luego un segundo con detalles mas pulidos
Agregué algunas referencias del juego como la emblemática frase de tu casco y su alocado sentido arácnido que provenía de la dinamita apunto de explotar en su cabeza, por supuesto también cambiando un buds por la araña que lleva en el pecho

Step 1.- As always, I start by making a sketch, letting my imagination flow or sometimes using a reference of a pose that I like. For me, it's best to make two sketches: a general one to see the direction of the drawing, and then a second one with more refined details
I added some references from the game, such as the iconic phrase on his helmet and the crazy spider sense coming from the dynamite about to explode on his head. Of course, I also replaced the buds with the spider on his chest.

Paso 2.- Luego pasamos al line art, mi parte favorita, esta vez no me preocupe tanto por los trazos ya que quise darle un estilo parecido al de la animacion de la pelicula, aun asi creo que quedó bastante pulido

Step 2.- Then we move on to the line art, my favorite part. This time, I didn't worry too much about the strokes, as I wanted to give it a style similar to the animation in the movie. Nevertheless, I think it turned out quite polished.

Paso 3.- Ahora a darle vida con los colores, al principio pensé en darle un color verde al traje pero el avatar al ser color verde creí que no resaltaría tanto así que opté por los colores originales

Step 3.- Now it's time to bring it to life with colors. At first, I thought about giving the suit a green color, but since the avatar is already green, I thought it wouldn't stand out as much. So, I decided to stick with the original colors.

Paso 4.- En este punto solo quedaba sombrear, últimamente estoy utilizando un método en el que oscurezco todo el dibujo y en vez de hacerlo como antes que añadía la sombra, mejor ahora resalto las luces, de esta forma es mucho mas fácil, o bueno eso creo, aun tenemos mucho por aprender 😅

Step 4.- At this point, all that was left was shading. Lately, I've been using a method where I darken the entire drawing, and instead of adding the shadows, I focus on highlighting the lights. This way, it's much easier, or at least I think so. We still have a lot to learn though! 😅
