Reto Semanal | Trunkset | A New Friend [ES/EN]

Hola querida comunidad Hive account@hivenftgamela, Cómo están?👋🤠
En esta ocasión les comparto mi participación para el reto semanal de Hive account@hashkings, modificando a mi estilo el avatar para esta semana es Trunkset, un robot con un aura muy inocente y, en esto me basé para mi ilustración, pero ya saben que no me gusta todo muy feliz y esas cosas jajajaj así que le di un tono algo triste, y es que es un robot desechado, olvidado en medio del bosque el cual por ironías de la vida encontró amistad en un pájaro carpintero que intentaba picotearlo creyendo que estaba muerto (apagado).

Hello dear Hive account@hivenftgamela community, how are you? 👋🤠
This time, I'm sharing my entry for the weekly challenge by Hive account@hashkings, where I've modified the avatar in my own style. For this week, it's Trunkset, a robot with a very innocent aura. I based my illustration on this, but you know I don't like everything to be too happy and cheerful hahaha, so I gave it a somewhat sad tone. You see, it's a discarded robot, forgotten in the middle of the forest, which, ironically, found friendship with a woodpecker that tried to peck at it, thinking it was dead (turned off).

Como siempre empezamos por el boceto aunque esta vez quise hacer una ilustración con otro estilo, con un lineart no tan cuidado y quizás hasta un poco rustico, casi no lo hago y quería ver que podía salir, como lo dije antes este robot me inocente pero tristemente abandona y eso quise expresarlo en sus ojos mirando a su único amigo

As always, I started with the sketch, but this time, I wanted to create an illustration with a different style. I went for a line art that wasn't so polished, perhaps even a bit rustic. I don't do this often, but I wanted to see what could come out of it. Like I mentioned before, this robot appears innocent but carries a sense of sadness and abandonment, and I wanted to express that through its eyes, gazing at its only friend.

Luego de agregar el color base pasé rápidamente a las sombras ya que vengo un poco tarde con la publicación xD
En este punto solo retoque ciertas partes de Trunkset y algunas sombras ya que quería que la luz viniera del fondo, representando algo de esperanza.

After adding the base colors, I quickly moved on to the shadows since I'm a bit late with the publication xD. At this stage, I only touched up certain parts of Trunkset and some shadows because I wanted the light to come from the background, representing a glimmer of hope.

Y eso es todo por el día de hoy una ilustración sencilla en la cual quise expresar algo un poco triste e inocente, cuéntame si te logré transmitir algo así :)
