Uno de los lugares mas especiales que conozco de la península de Santa Elena es el mirador de Punta Carnero, ubicado al comienzo de una amplia playa con su mar un poco feroz para recibir a quienes se atreven a entrar ya que siempre hay una bandera de peligro, pero si uno se sube al cerro que esta de junto, podrá admirar el esplendor de esta playa.
He visitado este lugar desde que funcionaba una discoteca en la parte mas alta de un peñasco allá por los 90s y he visto como ha cambiado a lo largo de los años.
He tenido la oportunidad de llevar ahí a mis padres, familia y amistades quienes han quedado admirados de la vista, la calma, el aire que allí se respira.
Esta imagen la tomé no desde la cima sino desde un poco mas abajo ya que hoy la zona esta descuidada y solitaria, por lo que no pude subir a pie a lo mas alto. sin embargo pude captar una imagen fabulosa.
Es mi lugar favorito para ver la caída del sol cuando voy a Salinas, y para llegar ahí hay que subir primero en carro y luego caminar hacia el cerro para llegar a lo mas alto, aunque no siempre es posible.
La vista es simplemente espectacular.
Desde la playa se distingue la parte mas alta donde se puede subir a pie, siempre y cuando no haya tanta maleza ni animales.
Cuando veo estas imágenes me traen gratos recuerdos y mucha paz, con ganas de visitar nuevamente.

I took this image not from the top but from a little lower down, as today the area is neglected and deserted, so I couldn't hike to the top. However, I was able to capture a fabulous image.
It's my favorite place to watch the sunset when I go to Salinas, and to get there you have to drive up first and then hike up the hill to reach the top.
The view is simply spectacular.
From the beach, you can see the highest point, which you can hike up to, as long as there aren't too many weeds or animals.
When I see these images, they bring back good memories and a lot of peace, making me want to visit again.
