Life is not balanced I swear. For a few years now, I have been trying to save money to buy an iPhone but the money I had saved had saved me when hunger almost took my life. Apple company are also not helping the situation, they keep on realizing a new brand before I finish saving for the previous one.
It's someone who is alive that can use an iPhone abeg. The worst part is that I used the last money I saved for iPhone17 to buy cooking gas on Monday. It happened that I have been saving the money for awhile now.
I got back from work and I was cooking when my cooking gas suddenly got exhausted. As usual, I lifted the cylinder and made my way to the gas shop on my street. As I was going, I could see people staring at me but I was careless . All I wanted was to fill my cylinder and finish cooking my concoction rice.
When I got to the gas shop, gas was not available then I tried another shop. After four shops, I decided to go to the gas station which I had to take a bike of some amount of money to.
It was when I got there that I heard the news that petroleum products workers are on indefinite strike. The gas station attendant directed me to another gas shop where the gas was sold at a very expensive rate.
That was how I ended up using the twelve thousand five hundred naira I have saved from four point five million naira which the iphone17 is being sold for to fill gas at the gas shop. I am making an honest promise here that once my savings are complete and I am able to buy my own iPhone17, I will snap a picture with every member of this community and place it boldly in my living room.
