Bioanalyst's day is celebrated in Venezuela, my country, on April 25 of each year in honor of the birth of the Scientist and Researcher Rafael Rangel, precursor of microbiology in the country. He studied medicine in the first year at the Central University of Venezuela and voluntarily retired for the second year, then entered the Pasteur Institute where he began to become familiar with bacteriology, until he became the father of Bioanalysis in my opinion country.
This day is very special and the fundamental work of bioanalysts in the field of health and other facets that they can perform is recognized. His commitment to precision in the analysis of biological samples, and his significant contribution to the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. It is an opportunity to highlight their important work and to express gratitude for their dedication and professionalism. 👩🔬🔬
The Bioanalysts, the hidden heroes and surrounded by many teams are the specialists of the health sciences who perform diagnoses by the clinical-epidemiological laboratory in the different areas: Parasitology, Uroanalysis, Microbiology, Hematology, Blood Bank, Immunology, Serology, Clinical Chemistry; advising regarding the requested exams and laboratory techniques that are performed, their work being the first step to diagnose and treat various diseases or disorders, follow up on pathologies and accompanying our patients at all times. 🧬🔬
