In a high-scoring game, the Cavs defended their home court and are now one win away from advancing to the next round.
It was a slugfest in which James Harden led Cleveland with 23 points and 9 rebounds, outshining RJ Barrett, who recorded a double-double of 25 points and 12 rebounds for the Raptors.
The Cavaliers’ offense was on fire from the start, managing to close out the game despite Toronto’s relentless push in the fourth quarter.
🪄 Orlando Magic 109 - 116 Detroit Pistons
Orlando leads 3-2
The Pistons showed their mettle as the home team and prevented Orlando from celebrating in their faces.
Cade Cunningham carried the team on his shoulders with 45 points, matching the output of Paolo Banchero, who also scored 45 in a historic battle of young stars.
Although Orlando remains ahead, the series returns to Florida for Game 6 with a Pistons team that has regained its confidence.
