Of the three participating teams, Academia Puerto Cabello currently leads Group B with 7 points. All teams still have a chance to qualify, but they will undoubtedly face the strongest opponent in the group, Atlético MG of Brazil, away from home. Qualifying would be an incredible achievement for a Venezuelan team, a historic milestone that will allow us to continue growing.
Next, in Group E, is Caracas FC, who play their final match at home against Botafogo, also from Brazil. However, this match is already meaningless, as both teams have already qualified for the next round. Caracas finished second in their group and awaits their opponent, which will be one of the third-place finishers from the CONMEBOL Libertadores. These are considered the strongest opponents on paper, but Caracas FC still has a chance to advance.
Finally, in Group H, we have Carabobo F.C., currently in second place. They will also be visiting Brazil to face Bragantino. A draw would be enough for them to qualify, and with a win and a combination of other results, they could even finish first. The important thing is to qualify, and to do so, they shouldn't lose in their visit to Brazil, where they are clearly not the favorites.
As you can see, these are Venezuela 🇻🇪 vs. Brazil 🇧🇷 matches. Perhaps on paper, they seem mismatched, with their league being far superior to ours, but I'm sure this is the right path for the local league to progress. It's also an excellent showcase for players who could go abroad in a short time. Goodbye, Hivers friends. It's been a pleasure sharing this post here in the community. I also hope to participate in the 2026 World Cup contest, so next week I hope to bring excellent news that everyone has managed to advance to the next phase of the Copa CONMEBOL Sudamericana.
