While watching my darling team playing today, I can’t even lie, this is the kind of Chelsea performance that gives fans genuine hope again. Not just because of the result, but because of the attitude, personality, and fight the team showed at Anfield. I watched Chelsea and truly felt proud again for the first time in a while.

Playing at Anfield is never easy, especially when you’re missing important attacking players on the wings. Most people expected Chelsea to struggle like they have been doing in their recent games, sit back, and survive pressure. But instead, this team walked into one of the toughest stadiums in football and played with courage. They didn’t look scared. They looked hungry.
And Levi Colwill… wow. Great to see him back and what a performance he showed today. He was an absolute warrior at the back. Calm under pressure, aggressive when needed, commanding the defense like a true leader. There were moments I honestly saw shades of Thiago Silva’s composure mixed with John Terry’s passion and authority. That kind of performance from a young defender says a lot about his future. And today's game shows what Chelsea has been missing at the back.
Reece Jame coming into the midfield in the second half completely shifted the physical battle. His strength, intelligence, passes and presence helped Chelsea control important moments of the game. Then there was Joao Pedro, constantly working, pressing, and dragging Liverpool defenders out of position with smart movement. Even without scoring, his impact was massive and he has been brilliant so far this season.
And don’t forget Cole Palmer. For a few seconds, I truly believed he had won it for us. The celebration, the excitement, the emotions… only for VAR to intervened and crush it with the tightest offside call imaginable. Painful honestly.
But Chelsea still looked like the side that wanted the game more even despite that disappointment. And that’s what impressed me the most. The energy, the confidence, the togetherness and it finally felt like a team with direction again. Even one good game is not enough but consistent really matters.
This match reminded me of something important that Chelsea still have quality players. The talent has always been there. What fans have been waiting for is consistency, identity, and proper leadership.
Now imagine this squad under the right elite manager, with clear tactics and confidence fully restored. That thought alone is exciting. 👀
Even though I still want Chelsea to sell some players and make quality addition to the squad as well.
I’m starting to believe Chelsea can genuinely go toe-to-toe with Manchester City in the FA Cup final after this performance against Liverpool.
But let's wait until then..
