Not closing schools was the wrong call during the Spanish flu. Those children will come home infected and infect the public workers that will then have to stay home anyway. A plan for those workers children could be developed instead of all the children becoming infected. St Patrick's day is coming and all bars and restaurants should be closed like in France and Italy. During the Spanish flu those cities that closed their businesses faired far better than those who allowed bars and restaurants to remain open. Lessons from the past have not been learned. This is a political compromise that will prove to be disastrous in hindsight. By next week the schools will be closed and the bars and restaurants closed. Dr Fauci being ignored.
