Croatia has chosen to close schools and colleges for about fourteen days, beginning from Monday, to battle the spreading of the coronavirus, Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic said on Friday.
"From Monday there will be no classes in the schools and colleges for about fourteen days. The classes will be sorted out through extraordinary TV programs and on the web," he said.
Croatia has so far recorded 31 instances of the coronavirus disease, while one individual has recuperated. There has been no fatalities.
