Why!!! You ask?

Well, first, let me try to answer everyone who chose to dump STEEM to buy HIVE. That is exactly what I have just done! Not clear? I will explain... soon.

What about the Community?

Hey! Great question right. I loved the STEEM community that is now migrating, day by day to HIVE. That's going to be everyone's place eventually. Simply because what's left in STEEM is just and ONLY about money. Nothing more... So, again, community? HIVE!

And I did not ditch this amazing community in ANY sense. In fact, I probed it very well to understand who was doing what. And now I am going to add on top of that.

To finish this theme about community, I shall express that my power down on STEEM will continue until it finishes the 13 weeks. I will probably leave some STEEM just for RC and be able to "see how things are" (again from the MONEY point of view ONLY). I really don't care about discussing values or governance there. Not until that blockchain becomes a more decentralized blockchain like HIVE.

So why did I invest on dCity.io?

Very simple... to start with, Hive account@gerber made this amazing game and now people can actually get more STEEM to dump it continuously, and to add up, for now at least (until STEEM is stable), you also win #HIVE🤑, AT THE SAME TIME, 😱WEEKLY!

dCity has a Ranking system where 50% of all cards purchases goes into a pool of wich 10% gets distributed weekly to the first 150 places, ranked by population. Check out the values at the time my Print Scotch🥃!

But wait... there is more!

Yes... besides all the fun of challenging other players, a market where you can buy/sell your cards, you also win a "basic income" from the city cards, called SIM.

`800 SIM is worth around 4 STEEM`

You can then, either use the earned SIM to purchase more cards via dCity.io or sell it via Steem-Engine (currently migrating to Hive-Engine) for STEEMP, and then to HIVEP.

Following that, you can use https://beeswap.dcity.io to send HIVEP to HIVE in its blockchain.

Most likely you will see also SIM on Hive-Engine, soon (feel free to comment Hive account@gerber). If you wish to find more details about that, check the Discord server for more info.

My strategy

To start with, I love this kind of games, so it's normal I wanna have some fun too, right? Still, (even if very occasionally) I sometimes play SimCity, Anno XXXX's, StarCraft, Diablo, (Egosoft) X3, X4, Civ XX's, etc. You know the trend...

My Book of Hive says (while STEEM is drifting without proper governance and monopolized censorship):

Spend STEEM where it can most profit HIVE
If you win more STEEM with that STEEM spending, either loop it (do it again) on something migrating to HIVE or sell it for HIVE (hopefully I can influence you Hive account@gerber LOL)
Promote by showing users where things are going to have future, The HIVE!
Only spend HIVE if the "whatever app" is already using HIVE blockchain.
If you don't need the liquid HIVE, Stake it.

Other important things happening on dCity

So, if you are a supporter of charities movements, I urge you to check and donate the "Homeless" card to the Hive account@homeless-city. An initiative by Hive account@detlev (the 🍻BEER guy!). I found Hive account@battlegames post quite good to summarize this initiative.
