Genesis League Sports' first game, Genesis League Goals, has its first beta tournament sponsored by the development team.
If you follow the development of the game, you probably know that the release of the full version of the game is close. The exact date is not yet known. However, on Friday (Nov 3) there will be a Town Hall again after a long time, where new information will probably be shared.
While we are waiting for the game, in the past few weeks we have already played 3 smaller tournaments, organized and sponsored only by the community members, but now here is the first one for which the development team offered prizes.
First, the rewards, then some rules that had to be created, in order to have a better experience and to avoid potential abuses and conflicts.

Registration, dates:
You can register until November 9. If you want to participate, just post a screenshoot of your team in this Discord thread: Hunters League Teamsā Please add your timezone in UTC, as well. You can also indicate some dates, time that are most suitable for you. Posting your team is both registration and assurance for others that you will play all your matches with the posted team. For example:
We will start playing the games on November 10.
All group matches must be played within 10 days, until November 19. After that, the final group within 4 days, until November 23.
The rules:
There are some restrictions on the composition of the team:
You must setup a team with minimum 1 coach + 7 starter + 5 substitutions (max. 1 GK sub) and no reserves.
You play all matches with the same team (coach + starting 7 + 5 substitutions).
No player or coach swap during the tournament!
5 groups, maximum 10 teams (players) in each group. The first 2 from each group qualify for the final group stage.
Everyone plays everyone twice.
You arrange your matches in the Hunters League Discord thread, feel free to tag your opponents.
There are no rounds in the league. Any match can be played at any time.
If someone doesn't play it:
If you have played 50% or less of your matches before, all your results will be deleted.
If more, then the participant who played more matches receives the 3 points with a 3-0 goal difference.
If the matches played are the same, then 1-1 points with 0-0.
Group assignment will be based on timezones.
Take a screenshot of the results of the matches and post them in the threads below. The other player confirms that he agrees the result.

Please, try to keep the Teams and Results free from any conversation for better transparency.

Few words about matchmaking:
As I wrote above, you can discuss when you will play your matches with your opponents on the GLS Discord channel in the Hunters League thread.
Since the 'opponent selection' option is currently not available in the game, this is possible with the 'casual' (or compete) functions.
Obviously, it will happen that someone else is already waiting in line for a match.
This problem can only be solved by asking someone on Discord, a third person, to queue in the 'casual/compete' first. If he get an opponent, there will be no one in front of you in the queue, if not, he can unregister and in both cases let you know that the course is free, you can play your matches.
Considering GLG support and the prizes, probably everyone will find the motivation to join. Be it trying the game, having fun, collecting pack and glx prizes, or just participating in the first major competition.
