Inspiration - Who is the person who inspires you the most? Why do they inspire you? What characteristics of that person inspire you?
- One may ask, who is the person who inspires you the most?
someone whom others look up to and want to be like; emulate. For me, two individuals fill this category and stand out as those who inspire me. They are the present two greatest footballers of all time GOAT: Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
- *Why do they inspire me? One may ask why would these two greatest footballers inspire me. Well, for over a decade now, they have dominated the football circle. Winning every available awards and honours. From 2008 - 2021, both players have won the award between themselves with only Luka Modric breaking their stronghold in 2018 with Cristiano Ronaldo however coming second behind him. Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi had therefore won the award a combined 12 out of 13 times between 2008 and 2021.
Thus, Lionel Messi had won it a record 7 times while Cristiano Ronaldo had won 5 times. These two players are really phenomenal.
- *What characteristics of these two GOATS inspires me? Simple: their ability to remain at the top of their games. For you to remain at the top, it requires discipline, hardwork and resilience; these two players posses these attributes. They really inspire me as I strive in my daily activities in my chosen career to excel and remain at the top as long as possible, just like these two great footballers. They are indeed a blessing to the world of soccer and young people at large.
