Gratitude - What are you grateful for of your 2025? What 5 great moments from your 2025 will you keep in your heart?
I understand gratitude as being thankful for the things I have achieved. Being happy and excited over the things that come our way opens more opportunities for us. When the heart is happy, there is an aura of happiness. The momentum is also filled with positive vibes.
This year, 2025, has been a great one for my family. We have had our ups and down moments and have celebrated great and small wins here and there. We have also held our hands together in tumultuous moments.
But in all, I have looked back and said thank you first to the almighty God for sparing my life and family, the strength and wisdom to navigate m⁰oments where I needed his mercy and grace to pull through.
However, among all the good things that came my way this year, I will briefly discuss five moments as requested by the moderator,.
First, my visit to the east to spend the summer with my eldest sister when she was ill. It’s been a long I met her physically. That opportunity presented a reunion window. I met with many friends and family, I took care of her, cooked for her. We sang, prayed, ate together, and cracked jokes. At the end, she felt better before I returned to my base.
Secondly, the completion of my MBA programme this year, which started as a struggle in August 2022. I pushed through thick and thin, and by March 2025, I was among the eight graduates. A journey that started with twenty-six students. I am happy I made it. It was a great moment for my family. It was also an additional colo⁴ur to my career flag.
Third was the assignment to coordinate the receipt of brand-new machines, in accordance with the 2025 expansion goal of my workplace. I was happy to lead, though it was not easy, and that challenge brought out the best in my team. Our leadership style championed the smooth installation, training, and launch of the products in the market.
Fourth was our bi-annual church convention, which takes place in June and December. This event allowed me to meet friends, sing, rejoice, and pave a way for renewal of the Christian covenant with our creator. It is a solemn feast that provides an opportunity for deep reflection and reconciliation with God. We also received bountiful blessings from his throne of mercy.
Finally, my office 2025 end-of-the-year party. We sang, played games, and enjoyed banters. Gifts were exchanged and performance rewarded. We were all happy to be complete as employees of our organisation without losing any staff from January to December 2025.
Indeed, they were just a figment of my 2025 great moments.
