History is one word with diverse meanings. I will be writing on this topic in the context of history as the chronicle of my past that has shaped who I am today. History connects our past with our present, just like a house cannot stand without a foundation, the same way we can't speak of a history without it having to do with past occurrences.
Yeah, my past has taught me a great lesson. The history of my background is completely nothing to write home about when it comes to family. I come from a family where uncles and aunts don't have a slight understanding of what the word family means, there is enmity between them as sisters and everyone sees another as a witch.
Which is not a good history to be shared around. Growing up to witness that from both my maternal angle made me wish to understand what that work family really means. My hunger to understand that made me realize that family is everything and nothing is bigger or greater than family.
Another aspect of history that taught me a valuable lesson is in my area of finance. Having rich uncles who had allowed enmity to cloud their minds and choose to spend their wealth on others. That had shifted my attention to the realization that money accord one respect and that past experience made me always want to strive to be financially independent instead of depending on anyone to solve my needs. Yeah, this mentality has made me not to be lazy but productive and hard-working in any area I find myself.
