Hello everyone.
Welcome to my participation to #queercoin weekly Topic Contest.
This week's Topic is Inspiration/Motivation.
Interesting topic for the week. This topic made me think for long.
I know I admire a lot of people in my life, but I can't specifically pin down the person that inspires me the most.
I think I remember someone, let's go with writing about the questions.
Who is the person who inspires you the most?
Why do they inspire you?
What characteristics of that person inspire you?
I met her for the first time during my days as an undergraduate, we happened to be roommates.
That's how school hostels are, they place people and you will get to learn how to live with the person.
We started knowing each other gradually. Then she told me she wanted to start selling things in the hostel.
The school don't usually allow students to sell things in their rooms, because there was shops close to hostels.
Those that own the shops pay, they said students selling inside their rooms could cause them not to get sales.
Despite this, some students still hustle to sell inside their rooms which they don't sell a lot of things just the little that can be accessed easily.
Because it wasn't easy to survive in school without any additional income, apart from the one given to you by your sponsors.
This my new found roommate, said she was going to start selling sachet pure water and cold drinks to pay for her fees and save too.
I was somehow concerned for her, because I was worried.
How she could cope with school stress and business?
She started in no time, it wasn't easy but she never gave up.
The struggle with hostel administrators and people that sell in shops.
She overcome them all and did so well dealing with school and business at the same time.
She expended her business to selling provisions.
I admired her courage, she inspired me that no matter what.
When one puts his/her mind in something you can succeed.
She opened my mind to business, it helped me with my mindset when I initially started my business.
Yes, right.
I think this short story answered the questions.
Thanks for reading through.
Thanks for your support too.
