Iniciando un nuevo mes, volvemos por acá a nuestra columna Échame el Cuento, de nuevo a relacionarnos y a compartir con todos nuestros amigos en #Hive. Mi amiga Hive account@annafenix y yo Hive account@brujita18, nos empeñamos en seguir adelante con nuestras ideas y trabajo en nuestra bella comunidad y es por eso que en esta ocasión venimos con un tema fresco y a la vez importante para nuestra convivencia cotidiana, que son esas cosas que nos gustan del otro, eso que nos hace únicos en nuestras preferencias, porque lo que te gusta a ti puede ser que a mí no me guste, pero siempre hay algo que destacamos en los otros que nos generan bienestar, alegría, y que sin darnos cuenta nos crea esa conexión con las demás personas.

Y no son otras cosas que aquello que nos gusta de los demás, como por ejemplo; personalmente, me encantan las personas que entran a algún lugar, dígase ascensor, consulta médica, transporte público, y saludan a los que estemos allí, con un "buen día" o "buenas tardes". Eso me habla de educación, respeto y me hace sentir visible y crea en mí de inmediato esa empatía inmediata con esa persona. También me encantan esas personas detallistas que se acuerdan de tus gustos, preferencias y que cuando menos lo piensas te lo hacen notar, con cualquier detalle; otra cosa que me hace clic son las personas amables de risa fácil, sincera y así infinidad de cosas que me gustan en las personas.

Entonces, queridos amigos, ¿qué queremos de ustedes? Que nos echen el cuento de aquellas cosas que les gustan de las personas. Estoy segura de que tendrán mucho que compartirnos. Todos tenemos cosas específicas que nos encantan en las personas; este es el momento de compartirlas. Disfrutemos de recopilar esas características personales que nos encantan en los demás.

As we kick off a new month, we’re back here with our “Échame el Cuento” column, ready to reconnect and share with all our friends on #Hive. My friend Hive account@annafenix and I, Hive account@brujita18, are committed to moving forward with our ideas and work in our beautiful community, which is why this time we’re bringing you a fresh yet important topic for our daily lives: the things we like about each other—the things that make us unique in our preferences. Because what you like might not be what I like, but there’s always something we notice in others that brings us joy and a sense of well-being, and that, without us realizing it, creates that connection with other people.

And it’s nothing other than what we like about others—for example, personally, I love people who walk into a place—be it an elevator, a doctor’s office, or public transportation—and greet those of us who are there with a “good morning” or “good afternoon.” That speaks to me of good manners and respect; it makes me feel seen and immediately creates that sense of empathy with that person. I also love those thoughtful people who remember your tastes and preferences and, when you least expect it, let you know with some small gesture; another thing that really clicks with me are kind people with an easy, sincere laugh—and countless other things I love about people.

So, dear friends, what do we want from you? We want you to tell us about the things you like in people. I’m sure you’ll have plenty to share with us. We all have specific things we love in people; now is the time to share them. Let’s enjoy compiling those personal traits we love in others.
