Hello everyone
It was a sunny morning after I dropped my son off at school. I decided to head over to Patong Beach. Phuket had been cloaked in clouds and ren for weeks, and the sun's warmth was a welcome change.
I'd been yearning for the sea and sunshine, so I drove towards the beach. Originally, I planned to catch the sunset, but evenings around Patong Beach were notorious for heavy traffic and a lack of parking. So, I opted for a morning visit instead.
Around 7:30 a.m., I pulled into Patong Beach. Surprisingly, the roads were clear, and I found a parking spot with ease. The morning atmosphere was vibrant with tourists admiring the beach's beauty and enjoying various activities. Some walked or jogged along the shore, reveling in the serenity.
The morning unveiled a stretch of beach, its sands damp and cool from the receding tide. It mirrored the sky above, a perfect reflection that seemed to meld earth and heavens. Though not a drop of rain had fallen, the wind carried a refreshing vigor that tousled my hair.
Strolling along, I found myself drawn to the far end, where Kalim Beach met its neighbor. This corner held a special place in my heart. Here, the ceaseless caress of the waves had sculpted great mounds of rock into fantastical, almost ethereal forms. A small enclave nestled nearby, a hidden gem of a beach, where few ventured. It felt like my own private sanctuary.
Perched on a weathered giant, I gazed out at the expansive sea. Sometimes, my eyes would follow the silhouettes of people ambling or jogging along the shore. Other times, I'd simply sit in stillness, the world fading away, thoughts dissolving. This was more than leisure; it was a profound kind of reprieve, a retreat for the soul.
In that quiet alcove, time seemed to stretch indefinitely. The world beyond the rocks ceased to exist, and I held onto that serenity, reluctant to let it slip away. The crisp morning air was invigorating, each breath filling me with a sense of renewal.
After what felt like an eternity, I finally roused myself from the rocky perch. Even as I stood, the reluctance to leave hung heavy in my steps. The freshness of the morning still clung to me, a revitalizing balm.
With a last, lingering glance at the tranquil beach, I turned towards the car. The journey back was a slow, measured stroll, each step carrying with it a sense of contentment. As I settled into the driver's seat, I felt a quiet satisfaction, knowing that I had filled my spirit with the beauty of that morning by the shore. The memories of that serene beach would stay with me, a source of solace for days to come.
