Beautiful walk through the snow ❄️, right on your doorstep. I only met one, uhhmm🤔human being on the way. The thermometer has been showing icy minus degrees for days. Our plants in the forest also get along well. In this weather it is particularly important for the animals not to be disturbed.
Trees are not that sensitive to frost, they have some kind of antifreeze in them. In autumn the trees shed their leaves and prepared for the cold winter days. When the leaves have fallen, the tree begins to hibernate. What is not good for the trees is an alternation between warmth and cold.
The icy temperatures are good for the wood harvest. So far it has been very wet and muddy in the forest. When there is snow, a walk in the forest is something special
