This tourist area is located on the slopes of Mount Kawi Malang, East Java, to be precise in the village of Balesari, Ngajum District. I visited with my family towards the end of December 2019, when I returned to Indonesia. This tour itself was first opened to the public in November 2019.
"Lembah Indah Malang" offers outdoor tourism forest resort with a cool mountainous area background and beautiful scenery. This is an educational tour, from animal husbandry, outbound, plantation with various techniques such as hydroponic, organic, and ordinary methods, we can also practice directly how to farming here. Or if you just interest for spending beautiful night with your loved one in mountain air background, that's a great choice.
Here visitors can also stay in the atmosphere of a camping site in a mountainous area in glamping or in a villa that is provided with a nightly rental of around IDR 400,000 - IDR 1.5 million. There is also a regular camping which is priced at an economical price of around IDR 75,000 - IDR 200,000 per night. The ticket price itself is very affordable, around IDR 15,000 for weekdays and IDR 20,000 for the weekend/ holidays season.
This tourist area can be reached by motorbike or car, from the center of Malang City it can be reached 1-1.5 hours using private vehicles, if taken by public transportation it will be longer because you have to change vehicles many times and also have to wait. There are many food and beverage outlets available and also at affordable prices. We can also enjoy the sensation of eating food in the natural atmosphere of the mountains with whole family, accompanied by fog and cold fresh air. Miss this place and someday I'll visiting again.
