Hello my fellow Hivean and all the CCH Members, How are you all? I hope you are all doing OK. Its Sunday again, and it is time for some #sundayrandom again.
Today I have a spider and two types of flies, two species I manage to identify, and the other fly is a bit harder to find out the name of the species.
The first one is the spider with the Latin name Tetragnatha praedonia is a kind of orb-weaver spider with a very long body, or legs. This one is a little bit difficult to photograph because it is very sensitive to my presence. It will get into cover, and hide its body to the closest branch from its web.
You can see how its body below fit almost perfectly with the branch. The color and the shape to its body really resemble the branch as part of its defensive mechanism.
The one below is the common green fly that we can mostly see swarming around the house.
And this fly is quite hard to identify, because I only manage to get the photos from behind before it fly away. It might be a species from a soldier fly.
