Today I will tell you about the dhikr lingek activity, which we were invited to attend my teacher's wedding ceremony.
Zikr is one of our worship as a servant to Allah swt. because we aim to praise and glorify the greatness of Allah SWT who has created us and given us healthy bodies and the pleasures of life, so that we can live in this universe.
In Aceh there is a tradition and custom called dhikr lingek. Dhikr lingek is a group of people in which that person will make a formation or form which will be led by one or a number of sheikhs of remembrance lingek.
This lingek remembrance is a tradition that has been passed down from Acehnese customs brought by a number of Islamic boarding schools and Dayahs in Aceh.
This lingek remembrance also reminds us of the Prophet Muhammad, who is Rahmatan Lil Al-Amin
