At the end of 2017, my friends and I had the opportunity to visit the Banda Aceh Tsunami Museum. One place I don't want to miss is the Aceh Tsunami Museum.
The Aceh Tsunami Museum that I know is the result of the design of Ridwan Kamil. Although now famous as the mayor of Bandung who has become a candidate for Governor of West Java, many do not know that the Aceh Tsunami Museum is his work. Ridwan Kamil is the leading architecture in this republic. He is also a lecturer in the department of architecture at ITB. Ridwan Kamil won the 'Aceh Tsunami Museum Designing Competition' organized by the Aceh-Nias Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Agency on 17 August 2007.
The Aceh Tsunami Museum opened to the public on May 8, 2009. The design is unique, and has two meanings. When viewed, the roof of the Aceh Tsunami Museum looks like ocean waves that reflect tsunami waves. However, when viewed from the side, this museum looks similar to a rescue ship that has a wide deck as an escape room.
Besides visiting the tsunami museum, we and our friends did not forget to stop at the Baiturrahman mosque. that's all my post today thank you, greetings from me
