Brownout
We recently experienced a widespread brownout that affected large parts of the country. We endured more than two hours of darkness and heat. I'm glad we had rechargeable lights to brighten our evening, mini-fans to cool us down, and portable Wi-Fi to keep us connected despite the power loss.Usually, brownouts are frequent during summer because many people use electric fans and air conditioners. Still, how can the energy sector be unable to fix the problem or come up with a solution to an energy shortage that happens every year? More and more people are actually having solar panels installed in their homes to avoid brownouts. Yet, energy companies still fail to improve their service.
Monday
I have no plans going anywhere today but I have a lot of things to do like the laundry and other stuff. It's sunny today, and a hot weather is expected. Meanwhile, we had strong winds and rains yesterday.
Above Sea Level
We went to Mount Olis, a known tourist destination in Atok, Benguet. I almost can't believe how high it is. It was around 7,900 feet above sea level.
