Gardening or planting isn't just for beautification but also for self-sufficiency. Back in early Covid days, we realized to the importance of having our own grows to feed ourselves like fruits and vegetables. Seeds or seedlings are being sold. We also received some advise to plant because of possible food shortage, or high prices of goods. It can even be our means of supporting ourselves financially by selling them.
As prices of everything are going up, being self sufficient is important because when prices go higher, it won't be painful for us. Even issues on the price of onion has become a national issue here in the Philippines.
When my wife went out for a walk, we saw these area where seedlings are sold, along with plants. Both can be beneficial because there's been a phase when plants prices is very high, and others made money out of it.
