Nature is God's Gift
I woke up this morning to the sound of birds chirping, as if they were singing a song for me to start my day. I didn't appreciate such sounds when I was younger; I thought it was just a normal thing. Nevertheless, I began to appreciate them as I got older. My wife even prepares some leftover bread for them to eat.
Even the sound of waves at the beach is relaxing to my ears. As the breeze blows over me, I close my eyes and enjoy what nature is giving to us humans. The sound of a flowing river is also relaxing.
Indeed, nature is God's gift. However, greedy people are destroying such gifts for their material pursuits. What's painful is that innocent people are the ones badly affected by the consequences of nature's destruction.
Thursday
It's been four days since we went on the road to Zambales. We're still here, and enjoying our time supporting the one week CO Visit after volunteering for construction. Today, we will support the sign language deaf field service again, and we'll be going to the river later.
Hills Above
There are hills above the mountain range of Cordillera. They provide eye candies worthy of capturing photos.
