TV Programs, Nostalgia
I’ve been seeing social media posts about old Filipino TV shows, and they bring me back to my childhood. It feels so nostalgic that I looked up those shows I used to watch when I was a kid.
Back then, soap operas (or what we often call teleseryes) weren't that popular until the second half of the 1990s. TV programs were usually shown once a week during primetime. Filipino movies aired on Mondays, particularly Regal Presents, and the next day, we would talk about them at school. Of course, some movies weren't that good, yet we still watched them. Watching TV used to be our main source of entertainment because smartphones didn't exist back then.
Situational comedies, or sitcoms, became very popular too, as well as drama anthologies. Those were the days of our nightly TV habits.
Saturday
We're early to wake up because we will attend the sign language meeting in Alaminos. I'll be delivering a discourse, hence the need to be early. However, we're caught up in traffic in Labrador and Sual boundary area.
Overlooking
So there's the view overlooking below from Mount Olis. We actually reached the highest part. It's nice to view the terraces and the flowers above.
