Dear writer friend, today I will present you a different kind of post. The 10th day of Muharram month of Arabic lunar month, which has many signs of our Muslim nation, I would like to shed some light on this 10th day of Muharram, and I will shed light on the most important issues of the Muslim nation in the collection of one of our favorite writers, Anwar Ali.
I do not hesitate to tell the truth, no matter how unpleasant. I always stand by the truth. I love learning from others.
It is needless to say that the month of Muharram and the day of Ashura (10th of Muharram) is an extremely embarrassing day for the monarchical countries ruled by the kings-kings, sheikhs and emirs, who hold sway over the Muslim world. On this day in 61 Hijri, Imam Hussain (R.A.), the leader of the youth of Behesta, was martyred at the hands of the dictator Yazid's soldiers for opposing the monarchy. On the orders of the then dictator Yazid, under the leadership of his governor Obaidullah Ziad, this martyrdom of the Holy Prophet was killed in the most brutal and fiendish manner in history. In the history of Islam, there have been incidents of murder of many great people, including Prophets, Messengers, Caliph Hazrat Usman, Hazrat Ali, and many other great people, but the incident of Karbala in 61 Hijri was so fiendish and cruel that it has shaken even the hardest hearts for ages.
The nomination of Yazid as Caliph by Hazrat Muawiya (RA) was an ax attack on Islamic governance:
The Holy Prophet (PBUH) did not appoint anyone as his successor before his death. He left it to the people to choose his successor. Accordingly, the first four successors namely Khulafaye Rashedin were democratically elected by the people. But the founder of the Umayyad dynasty, Hazrat Muawiya, established the hereditary monarchy as soon as he gained the caliphate. In 676 AD, at the instigation of Hazrat Mughira, the ruler of Basra, he nominated his eldest son Yazid as his successor and struck a blow to the essence of Islamic governance. Hazrat Muawiya and Hazrat Mughira were both respected Companions. Since they were not prophets or messengers, they were naturally not above error. But this mistake of theirs leaves the history of Islam bruised, bloody and tarnished. Islam's system of governance is extremely axed. History testifies that Yazid, the son of Hazrat Muawiya (RA) was cruel, Traitor, ungodly and drunkard. In honor of Hazrat Muawiya, many say that Yazid was not such a miscreant when he appointed his son as heir. After the death of Muawiyah, he became like this. Maybe, God knows best.
According to historians al-Fakhri, von Kremer and Ibn Tiktaqah, Yazid's reign is famous for three atrocities—in the first year he killed Imam Husayn, the Prophet's daughter-in-law, in the second year he plundered Medina, and in the third year he attacked the Kaaba.
While others accepted the nomination of this impious Yazid as Caliph, Imam Husain, the second-in-command of the Holy Prophet, did not accept the deviation from Islam. Abdullah-Ibn Zubair, Abdullah-Ibn Omar, Abdur Rahman-Ibn Abu Bakr support this just claim of Hussain. However, after some time the latter two were tempted by Yazid and submitted to him. Unable to endure Yazid's persecution, Husayn and Abdullah-ibn Zubair left for Makkah.
Incident of Karbala:
It was not possible for a believer like Imam Hussain to accept Yazid's disruption of Islamic governance. The revival of the Khilafat system was Imam Husayn's (RA). ) main goal of the struggle. He also had the support of a large number of people in the Muslim world. In addition, the people of Kufa repeatedly requested Imam Hussain's help to save them from Yazid's misrule, and he responded. He decided to go to Kufa. Husayn sent his cousin Muslim-bin-Aqeel there to find out the state of Kufa. Having received the assurance of the help of the people of Kufa, Muslim wrote a letter requesting Imam Hussain to come to Kufa. But in the meantime, the hard-hearted ruler of Iraq under Yazid, Obaidullah bin Ziyad, tracked down Muslim and brutally killed him and also found and killed his aides. The people of Kufa were frightened by this. They did not dare to come forward to help Hussain. The people of Kufa wanted to see Imam Hussain as Caliph but were not willing to sacrifice their lives for Imam Hussain. Knowing about Yazid's ruthlessness, the companions of Imam Hussain (a.s.) knowingly joined the Imam. It is very clear. Loving the Imam, having immense respect and faith in him, they participated in the struggle with the Imam. The blow inflicted on Imam Husain (a.s.) and his companions was more painful than the pain of the sword, the blow of ignorance and stupidity of the people. That is why removing the veil of ignorance from the minds of the masses was an important Jihad for them.
On receiving the letter from the Muslim Messenger, Imam Hussain left for Kufa with his wife, sons and daughters, relatives and 200 attendants. When Umar Hussain, the commander of Yazid's forces in Kufa, was ordered to take an oath of allegiance to Yazid, he refused. As a result, they surrounded the banks of the Euphrates and blocked the water supply to Hussain's camp.
During the days of Tasuya, the situation in Karbala began to deteriorate rapidly. The Imam's companions were carrying out their duties with unwavering faith and faith, even though they were sure of death. They did not break their promise to the Imam even in dire situations. Hazrat Abbas (A) was one of the possessors of this steadfast faith. He was the son of Hazrat Ali (A). His mother was Ummul Banin. Hazrat Abbas was a fearless young man. His faith, bravery, moral and spiritual qualities were proverbial. He was also very beautiful. He was the chief Sipahsalar of the Imam Paksha in the Assam War of Karbala. He fought valiantly in defense of the Imam, in defense of the tents of women and children, and to provide water for the children of Imam Husain (a.s.).
Finally, a force of 4,000 men under Obaidullah Ibn Ziyad besieged Imam Hussain (RA) and blocked the Euphrates River. 4000 soldiers against only 200 men. When the Imam's young children became very thirsty due to the blocking of the water supply, Hazrat Abbas (A) went to Fora to fetch water. He himself was very thirsty. He remembered the thirsty child of Imam Hussain (a.s.) when he was about to fetch water from Anjala. After throwing away the water and filling the mashka, he left for the tent, one of his hands was cut off by the enemy bank. He took the mask in his other hand and ran towards the Imam's tent. Now the other hand is also cut. Now he wanted to go towards the tent with the mask in his mouth. The enemy's arrows hit his body directly. Thus he became a martyr. Then Ali Akbar was martyred in this war of Assam. Among those who were martyred in Karbala were the beloved companions of the Prophet, Habib Ibn Majah.
As history testifies, Hussain, in distress, requested Obaidullah to accept any one of three proposals. Either he should be allowed to return to Madinah, or he should be allowed to stay in a fort on the Turkish border, or he should be allowed to go to Damascus to negotiate with the Yazids. But the powerful Obaidullah did not accept any of it. Meanwhile, Hussain's camp lamented due to lack of water. Small children began to faint. Although Nirupaya Hussain pleaded for the last time, The minds of the heretics did not melt. On October 10, 680 AD, an unequal war broke out in the desert of Karbala. Hussain's nephew Qasim was the first to be martyred by the enemy. The thirsty Hussain took the infant son Asghar in his arms and marched towards the river Euphrates, but the arrow thrown by Yazid's army pierced the infant's body and the infant was martyred. At that time a woman brought him a glass of water. But the enemy's arrow pierced his face. A soldier of Seema's famous Yazid severed Hussain's head from his body with a sword blow. Even the hardest heart melted at this terrible scene. The surviving members of Husayn's family were captured and sent to the Yazids in Damascus. Meanwhile, such a horrible scene of Hussain's death angered the people of the whole country. Yazid was scared. In a tactful move to secure power and fear public outrage, he freed the prisoners and sent them to Madinah.
Creation of Shia Sunni sect:
Some people could not accept this bloodshed of Hussain. They rebelled. They rose against Yazid and the monarchy. They became known as Shia in history. This Shia was born on the 10th of Muharram. The Muslims were divided into two groups. One side was dissatisfied but accepted Yazid's rule. They gave birth to a new school of thought called Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat. Those who did not accept any of this gave birth to another new sect called Shia. This sectarian division gradually became permanent. which weakened the Islamic society. The division between Muslims was evident from the incident of Karbala. Obaidullah al-Mahdi, the founder of the Fatimid Caliphate, was not the founder of Shiism. Those who say this are contrary to history and often lie. Besides, there was no controversy during his reign and for a hundred years after that whether Obaidullah Al Mahdi was a descendant of Mother Fatimah. In 1011 CE, a pamphlet published by the rival Abbasids referred to him as the son of a Jew. However, historians Ibn Khaldun, Makrizi, Ibnul Asir, Abdul Fida all said that he was a descendant of Fatima. The court scholars made good use of this controversy. In fact, it does not matter whether he was the son of a Jew or a descendant of Fatima. The fact is that he was not the founder of the Shia doctrine. Shia doctrine originated from the events of Karbala. Abdul Fida all said he was a descendant of Fatimah. The court scholars made good use of this controversy. Shias and Sunnis--people of both sects consider their religious beliefs to be valid. Such sects and divisions are totally forbidden in Islam. Muslims now identify themselves as Sunni Muslims or Shia Muslims, which is not Islamic at all. Rather, it is a direct heresy.
Allah Almighty says,
Who can be better than the one who calls people to the path of Allah and obeys Allah's command and says, "I am a Muslim" [Al-Qur'an, 41: 33]
So say (to them) that you are witnesses. Let it be said that we are 'Muslims' who submit wholeheartedly to Allah [3:64].
So this division is not desirable at all. If you believe in the Qur'an, no identity other than Muslim is acceptable. I mentioned this for a good reason. Those who don't accept Quran and Hadith will be non-Muslims, why should they be Shia or Sunni? But painful as it is, this Shia-Sunni divide also stems from the events of Karbala.
The disloyalty of the people of Kufa and the speech of Imam Husain.
Imam Hussain (A) gave several speeches or sermons to the people of Kufa in the desert of Karbala, especially to the group of Yazid. Imam Pak said in one of his speeches - O people of Kufa! You know that Yazid and his people have left the path of Allah and followed the path of Satan. Corruption is spreading. They transgressed the limits of Allah and turned Bait al-Maal into personal wealth. They are not on the verge of halal and haram. Friends! You know this very well, my right to the caliphate is greater than anyone else's. You have repeatedly sent letters to me to come to Kufa and to me. He sent messengers and requested me to take the oath of allegiance (bayat), saying that you would not leave my company and value my life more than your own.
O people of Kufa, if you stick to your promise, you will be guided. And I will not be surprised if you do not accept it and break your oath of allegiance, because you have treated my father Mawla Ali, my brother Imam Hasan and my cousin Hazrat Muslim bin Aqeel before. You have ruined your akhira, and you have brought about your own destruction by deceiving others. Those who break their promises actually hurt themselves.
When everyone is martyred one by one in the field of Karbala and Imam Hussain is bringing the mutilated bodies of all Mubarak and keeping them in the tent. Finally, Imam Pak went to the battlefield from the tent and gave the last touching speech, O people! Don't rush and make noise, be calm. Listen carefully to my words first. Let me fulfill the responsibility given to me by Allah and His Messenger to establish justice and truth. Why did I come here? What did you come for? You need to know that. If my words seem reasonable to you, accept them, and if you can do me justice, that will be the cause of great fortune for you. And if my words are not pleasing, and if you refrain from doing justice, I will have nothing to say. You can do whatever you want then. O people of Kufa, think about my clan status.
This speech of Imam Hussain proves that the people of Kufa committed extreme betrayal. They did not keep their word. They were willing to take the Bayat. But they were not willing to give life and property for Islamic rule. They were willing to stand by Imam Hussain, but they were not ready to give their lives for Imam Hussain.
Yazid was well aware of the lies and distortions of history by the court scholars.
, and it would not be possible for him to maintain the monarchy if he directly opposed Imam Hussain. So he resorted to tactics even after committing such brutal murders. He tried to shape public opinion in his favor with the scholars under him.
The power-hungry villain Yazid is not alive. But the monarchy established by the Yazid still holds the top Muslim countries. Dictatorships are sitting on the chest of Muslims. They also have some home-bred scholars like imam pir to fool the muslims. In the name of Ahle Sunnat wal Jamaat, they are trying in various ways to diminish the importance of the history of Karbala. They want to turn it around and say that Imam Hussain went to Kufa because of the greed for power. There was no welfare of Islam in his going. It was not a war of right and wrong. (Nauzubillah). God's curse is on these courtiers. They are keen to justify the Yazidi atrocities and the Euphrates water supply stoppage. Some did not even hesitate to call this incident of Karbala a myth. With this, they presented the documents only to the court scholars. They want to understand The incident of Karbala is not that important. There is no use arguing about it. Yazid is not Hussain's killer. Imam Hussain was not an elected emir or caliph of the Muslim nation. They tried to convince people that it was permissible to kill him. Some scholars did not hesitate to call him 'Rahmatullah' while writing more about Yazid. But these court scholars are very cunning. First of all, they salute Imam Hussain (RA) in such a way that it seems that they are very devoted and supporters of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA). At first he tried to explain that their hearts were full of love for Imam Hussain. But in the name of teaching 'real history' under the guise of hypocrisy and very cleverly they sing the Yazid's vindication. They blamed Hazrat Imam Hussain for killing Imam Hussain. Some blame the Shiites. But at that time Shia doctrine was not created. Overall, Yazid should not be blamed in any way. He also wants to blame the people of Kufa for killing Imam Hussain. They want to understand that Imam Hussain fell into the trap of the people of Kufa and went against Yazid. However, no Muslim can think that Hussain went against Yazid at the instigation of the people of Kufa. Rather, Imam Hussain rose up in support of the Islamic caliphate and against the monarchy. It is true that the people of Kufa did not keep their word. They committed extreme treachery with the Imam's family.
Court scholars, under the shelter of extreme cunning, want to portray Yazid as a good ruler, servant of Islam. According to them, the allegations against Yazid are not true. They want to convince people that Yazid ordered the war against Hussain but did not order to kill Hussain. Readers notice where the evasion is. There is no evidence that Yazid was distressed when he heard of Hussain's murder or that he punished the murderer. The courtiers used to say that, When Hussain's severed head came to Yazid's court, there were tears. But the killer was not removed from power and no punishment was given. Governor Obaidullah bin Ziyad remained in his position. So what is understood? The courtiers also want to explain that monarchy is not such a bad thing. Over the ages, these courtiers have tried to mislead Muslims in various ways in the name of teaching them true history. They dismissed the true history of Karbala as Shia propaganda. In order that people do not do these things, they have called Shia Shia. Because the historical truth of Karbala is scarred in the mind of the believer. The people revolted against the tyrannical monarchies. And to prevent this consciousness is the aim and purpose of court scholars. cut The people revolted against the tyrannical monarchies. And to prevent this consciousness is the aim and purpose of court scholars. cut The people revolted against the tyrannical monarchies. And to prevent this consciousness is the aim and purpose of court scholars.
Why this deadly attempt to prove Yazid innocent?
After the martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA), Yazid sat like a rock on the entire Muslim world. The cunning Yazid understands the emotions of the common people towards Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA). Everything has to be managed strategically to stay in power. On that way, these are Yazid. The impression is that he did not give clear orders to kill Imam Hussain. He very cunningly engaged in various efforts to shape public opinion in his favor. His companions are some court scholars. Sahabad has been destroyed in various ways. If Yazid was responsible for the battle of Karbala, Imam Hussain's battle was legitimized. People will hate the monarchy and rebel against it. So these Darbari scholars are doing their duty to prevent that from happening. Attempts to change the history of Karbala by some so-called Shia imams and some Sunni imams have been made in the past and are still being made. Why did Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) go against Yazid? Why did he come out of Madinah? They say Yazid was able to martyr Imam Hussain because of going to Kufa. They want to understand that Hussain did not do right by opposing injustice. It was Husayn who did the wrong thing by opposing Yazid's monarchy. They want to say, Muslims were united on the rule of Yazid. Hussain came and tried to crack that unity (Nauzubillah). And some opportunist scholars said, Yazid can neither be called good nor bad. Note the confusion. The tyrannical ruler who killed the Prophet's death cannot be said to be good or bad. Not saying this means supporting Yazid. Many did not hesitate to opine that the war of Karbala was not a war of right and wrong. In other words, they want to say,
Some fake hadiths in support of Yazid have also been tried to mislead people over the ages. One of them is من وسع على عياله يوم عاشوراء وسع الله عليه ساير السنت. قال الإمام احمد : لا يصح هذا الحديث
“Whoever provides prosperity (good food) for his family members on the day of Ashura, Allah will keep him prosperous throughout the year.”
About this hadith, Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal. said; The hadith is not authentic. The famous hadith Bishard Ibn Qayyim Zawi. He said about this hadith:
رواه التبراني عن انس مرفوعا, وفي عسناده الهيسم بن شداخ وحو محول, ورواه العقيلي عن عبي حريرة وولاه: سليمان بن عبي عبد الله محول, والحديث غير محفوظ, على الترقه واحيا دعيف لا تبلت
"Tabarani Hadith Narrated by Anas RA. described in the source. According to this source, the person named Haysham Ibn Shaddakh is unknown. And Uqayli narrated Abu Huraira RA. from And he said: In this source the person named Sulaiman bin Abi Abdullah is unknown. The hadith is not preserved and every source of this hadith is completely bad and very weak
. I don't know how many more fake hadiths they have created.
The ghosts of the Yazids of the past still haunt the oppressed people of the Muslim world. They have expanded the old strategy of fooling people by putting on Islamic guise. It is because of them that the first qibla of Muslims, Baytul Moqaddas, has been trampled under the boots of the Jews, and has been insulted, humiliated and insulted. The second and third Qabala of Muslims are ruling Makkah Madinah, who are the big traitors of the Muslim world and the servants of the West. They have been clinging to power for generations and have been enslaving the West for generations to maintain this power. However, due to the location of Mecca-Madina, this country could lead the entire Muslim world as the heart of the Muslim world. It could guide the Muslims in the right direction. But they themselves are western capitalists, Nationalism is capital. These rulers, the capital of Arab nationalism forbidden in Islam, have engaged in various efforts to swallow the distorted history of Islam to Muslims for good reason. Some of the Islamic institutes and madrasahs in different Muslim countries, run by their charitable donations, teach the Yazidis very cleverly. The titles of these writings full of slander would seem to be written for Imam Hussain. But very consciously and skillfully it campaigned in favor of Yazid.
Why did the honorable companions want to stop the imam from going to Kufa?
When Imam Hussain was preparing to go to Kufa after receiving the letter from the people of Kufa, many respected Companions forbade him to go. They forbade Husayn to go because they had already anticipated the treachery of the people of Kufa. Not in any way supporting Yazid. But the supporters of Yazidis/pro-monarchists interpret this prohibition in various ways in favor of Yazidis.
How much Yazid was involved in this murder?
Yazid died at the age of 37. One of his sayings can be found in the 8th volume of Al Bidaya wan Nihaya. Thus, at the time of death, he is praying saying, "O Allah, do not seize me for that which I did not want and did not resist." Judge between me and Obaidulrah bin Ziyad.'' But he could have resisted if he wanted to. He blamed Obaidullah Bin Ziyad more than himself for this murder.
But the truth is that this murder was not against him. He did not give any punishment to the killer. Didn't resist. Allowing the incident to happen and favoring the killer in committing the world's most brutal murder. No punishment given. As the head of the state, he is responsible for this murder. In this case, there is nothing in history to prove his innocence.
Muslim's relationship with those who support Yazid:
Muslims have only one relationship with those who support the tyrant Yazid, the murderer of the Prophet's martyrdom, and that is that they are enemies of Islam. The enemy of the Prophet's family. Muslims cannot be followers of Ali and his killer and Husayn and his killer at the same time; Muslims are either with Ali or his killer or with Husayn or Yazid. Many people say that Yazid has left with his deeds, what is the use of saying that he is bad? Pharaoh, Abu Lahab, Abu Jahel also left with their actions. If you love Islam and the Prophet, you must hate those mischievous devils. Just as the good should be called good, the bad should also be called bad by faith.
It is stated in the Holy Sahih Bukhari Hadith,
I saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, taking Hasan bin Ali on his shoulder and saying: O Allah! i love it So love him and he who loves him, love him.
In another hadith of Bukhari Sharif, it is narrated from Abdullah Ibn Umar (RA), he said: I heard the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, saying, These two (Hasan and Hussain) are the two flowers of my world.
In another hadith of Tirmidhi Sharif, the
Prophet , may God bless him and grant him peace, said:
Hasan and Hussain will be the leaders of the youth of Paradise.
No Muslim can support Yazid who killed this piece of Prophet's liver. Imam Hussain was killed by Yazid's wicked soldiers to keep Yazid's state power intact. Lust for state power is such a thing, Yazid, despite being the son of a Companion like Muawiya (RA), did not hesitate to kill the piece of Prophet's liver. And there is no need to talk about court scholars. They have made various efforts to teach and digest the so-called correct history written by them. By singing the praises of Imam Hussain, he tactfully wrote many books in favor of Yazid. But by Allah's infinite mercy the Muslims were not misled. Despite their hundreds of thousands of attempts over the ages, no one has accepted the killer of the Prophet's death.
Why is Hussain (RA) called Imam?
In one word, the entire Muslim world accepted him as Imam or leader. Yazid was leaning on the crowd. Yazid was not the elected leader of the Muslim world. From that time until the Day of Judgment, Muslims did not accept Yazid as Imam or leader. To call Hussain Imam is to deny Yazid. Hussain is the Imam or leader. Since then, the name of Hussain has always been called 'Imam'. Imam Hasan was also killed in a very clever way using poison. He is also the Imam of the Muslim nation. No matter how much the descendants of Yazid burn, Muslims will proclaim Hasan and Hussain as 'Imams' until the Day of Judgment. And on the other hand, no Muslim child has been named after Yazid, the symbol of brutality, until the end of the world. However, Ezidi rule is still in force in the top countries with Muslim names.
Impact of Karbala incident on Muslim world-
The incident of Karbala has gained so much importance in the Islamic society because it is only the Muslims who oppose the oppressors and support the Islamic Caliphate. The new oppressive rulers of this era are very upset because this incident of Karbala gives motivation to the Muslims to wake up. It is true that Islam does not condone the practice of mourning someone's death. It is heresy. Many people do it without knowing. Yazid's supporters are infuriated because some people with Shia name do all this. They got the urge to call the incident of Karbala Shirk heresy. But because of that, the history of Karbala is not dirty. There have been many tragic killings in the history of Islam, but the incident of Karbala is so brutal that it moves people's hearts deeply. His martyrdom is an extraordinary and unique martyrdom and a heart-rending event, which has no precedent in the previous and subsequent ages. Such long-lasting and widespread mourning, weeping and lamentations have never been done by the Muslim nation for any martyrdom. This grief of Muslims, This cry, this protest is shaking the hearts of the new Yazids who are pressing on the Muslim world. Otherwise, why are they so desperate to distort history on behalf of Yazid? Why is the piece of the Holy Prophet's liver engaged in trying to make people digest Imam Hussain (RA) by humbly saying that he was not in favor of the truth? Why people are giving so much importance to the incident of Karbala is puzzled. They know very well that the incident of Karbala is against the oppressors, Gives motivation to stand up against injustice. The history of Karbala is a great instructive history for the entire world humanity. The history of fighting with the last drop of life with the power of faith against the exploitation of the tyrannical regime. The history of creating a shining example to call people to righteous deeds and deter them from evil deeds. One of the more negative aspects of this history was the breaking of the promises made by the people to the Imam. As a result, Imam's messenger Muslim was martyred alone. Still the Imam did not change his course.
