The lizard is a common animal in our region. Especially during the day or at night, this animal can be seen roaming between the walls. This animal can be seen near lights especially at night when electric bulbs are on. Because then, due to the light, various insects come and gather and this animal sits to get a trap to eat them. It is very stealthy and catches prey very quickly when given the chance. It looks like a crocodile.
We always see this animal in our house. Sometimes it makes a ticking sound. And also walks or runs quickly through walls horizontally or vertically with its feet. The most interesting thing is that even though its legs are up and its body is down, it does not fall down. As a science student I read that one of its toes has a sticky substance by which it can stick to walls. It looks pretty good.
Some people say that when you make a ticking sound when you say something, it is true. Although I am not sure about the authenticity of this statement. But to be honest, most of the people in rural areas believe that. I took some photography when I visited this lizard at our house a long time ago. Especially when they are sitting very still to catch prey that can be photographed otherwise they run off.
