Hi all hive friends
Have a nice day everyone, and happy new year's eve to all my dear nestmates. Goodbye 2021 and happy 2022. Hopefully the bitter experience in 2021 will not be repeated in 2022. And we can make it an extraordinary experience. better in 2022. Hopefully all of us in this nest community can be even better in the future, and can further advance this nest community.
Tonight I will share some pictures of the activities I am doing this afternoon, this afternoon I will spray pest poison on my thirty-five day old rice plants, because after I noticed my rice plants were starting to be attacked by pests. .
and this is a picture of my rice that has started to be attacked by pests,
This pest is a stem borer (Rice Stem Borer).
Rice stem borer (Rice Stem Borer) is a pest that attacks rice stems from the time the plants are planted in the nursery until the formation of panicles. Symptoms of the attack include saplings becoming stunted or dead, known as sundep (Deadheart symptoms) and panicles becoming empty or called Whitehead symptoms. This will be seen later if the rice panicles are loose, but the rice panicles are not filling.
Sundep or Beluk is the main pest on rice plants that causes heavy damage and high yield losses. In the vegetative phase of rice plants, the larvae cut the middle of the tiller causing the shoots to wither, dry out and the symptom is called sundep.
And this is my mainstay insecticide to deal with sundep on rice plants, namely with the VAYEGO trademark from PT BAYER INDONESIA.
Why this poison can be my mainstay, because I really like the way this poison works, this poison works systemically, contact and stomach. And the active ingredient of this poison is also very high, namely Tetraniliprol 200 g/l.
Systemic meaning is: after the poison is sprayed or spread it will stick to the plant. Then this poison will be absorbed into the plant tissue through the leaves or roots. This toxin can kill pests on plant tissues, such as the larvae of rice plants that eat rice stalks, which are called rice stem borers.
While the meaning of contact is: if the poison we use hits the pest, it will die.
Whereas what is meant by the stomach is: if a pest is exposed to this poison, it will be lazy to eat and will eventually die, because it does not eat.
I also mix it with a high dose gastric contact insecticide, with the trademark RONSHA from PT RABANA INDONESIA which has two active ingredients, namely chlorpyrifos 500 g/l and cypermethrin 50 g/l. contact, in just a matter of minutes the pests affected by this poison will die.
I also provide fungicides for my rice plants, and the fungicides I use are, with the trademark NATIVO from PT BAYER. Surely all of my friends are asking,,,why do I have to mix insecticide with fungicide, because,,every pest that bites or damages our plants must be bitten which contains a bactericide or fungus, therefore I have to eradicate the bacteria. well. Because if the plant is free from pests and bacteria, the plant will grow faster.
And this is a picture of the fungicide I used, this fungicide also has two dual active ingredients, so it's even better
Hopefully the pictures that I show can entertain all of you who are resting or who are celebrating this new year.
Previously I also thank Mr. and all my friends in this nest community, who have supported me, hopefully in 2022 we can be even better, and I can get more friends.
Regards
