Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim
Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barokatuhu.
Hello my dear friends.
I am . From #Bangladesh.
How are you all? I hope everyone is well by the grace of God, I am also well, Alhamdulillah. I am back with another new post of mine. On the 30th, while coming to Dhaka from home, I had to cross a ferry on the way. That is, I had to cross the Jamuna River by ferry. I came to share it with you at the moment of crossing the ferry.
I was coming to Dhaka by bus. The bus left Kumarkhali bus stand at 6:40 am and started its journey towards Dhaka. It took us about 2 hours to reach the ferry pier. After the bus was loaded onto the ferry, I got off the bus. That morning, the sky was quite cloudy again, and it was raining in some places.
The river was choppy, the sky was covered with clouds, I thought it might rain, but it didn't rain while I was on the ferry. Since it was early in the morning, the ferry wasn't very crowded. A few trucks and buses had boarded, which is usually very crowded during the day.
Some time after we got on the ferry, the ferry left. The ferry was moving slowly because of the waves in the river. It took about 1 hour or 40 minutes to cross the river. On one side, there was a cloudy sky, a light cold wind, and the sound of the river waves gave a different feeling. At this time, if there is a loved one by your side, the story can be told in peace😁😜😄. I had a little fun.
I thought I would capture this beautiful view of the river on my camera. That's why I started recording videos with my phone. I shared the video with you too. Many of us may have never seen such a view of the river. I am fortunate to have a house on the river bank and often see such scenes.
There are various facilities available on the ferry. There are washroom facilities. Various types of fruit vendors are selling fruits, jhalmuri is available, boiled eggs, various types of water. You can buy and eat them if you want. The ferry was four-story. There is also a small hotel on the second floor. Where you can eat from breakfast to dinner.
If you want, you can bring food from home and eat at the hotel. Usually, I don't eat anything on the way. That's why I just went up to the second floor and looked around the hotel and came back, I didn't even take pictures. However, the view of the river from the ferry was very beautiful.
I walked around the ferry many times and then got on the bus again. After some time, the ferry reached the other pier. Then our bus got off and started its journey again.
It is necessary to build a bridge over this river, but even after a long time, it has not been implemented. The plan is still going on, maybe it will be implemented in the future.
Anyway, I shared the moments of the ferry crossing with you, I hope you all liked it. I crossed the ferry 3/4 times this time.
Everyone stay well and healthy. I will see you again with a new post of mine.
