Kapasan is a wild plant belonging to the Malvaceae family which is known as a producer of musk oil. This plant is widely known in Java as kakapasan, kaworo, regula, rewulow, waron, kastorè (Md.), or buccal, while in Sumatra people call it gandapura, Cottonseed produces musk oil which is used as a mixture of cosmetics, liniment, and a mixture for itching powder, besides that cotton can also be used as a fever reducer (anti-pyretic), urinary laxative, anti-inflammatory, and to expedite the discharge of pus.[1] Cotton seeds, leaves and roots contain saponins and flavonoids.
